Today a very sad news received me. Valentine´s Day 2014 was not the day of love for Michael Wahler. It was the day of his death. The founder of the best German fun punk band Die Suurbiers (aka Frau Suurbier) did suicide in the age of 51. He was a high talented musician, influenced later more famous bands like Die Ärzte or Die Toten Hosen - and he was a good friend of mine. What a pitty that we lost our contact in the last years. His band Die Suurbiers was part of my youth. Their Christian Anders tribute Teenage Rebell was showing his personality: He was a teenage rebel forever! Thank you, Cäpt´N, o, my Cäpt´N!
