youtube/watch?v=Lh5uggE_U04 So, a few weeks ago Fat Wreck Chords put out a tribute album for the late, great Tony Sly: a great songwriter and lead singer for No Use For A Name who tragically passed away last year. I can honestly say Ive never heard a tribute album that is this good. You can really tell that Sly made an impact on the artists involved; there is not a single clunker track or a half-assed effort on the album. The variety of artists involved and their musical contributions only go to reinforce the songwriting prowess of Sly. This particular track has been stuck in my head all day. Tim McIlrath and Jon Snodgrass (a criminally underrated songwriter himself) absolutely kill it on this song. I highly recommend checking this tribute out, even if youve never heard of Tony Sly or No Use For A Name. Its well worth it.
