youtube/watch?v=Q0z-C8Ke2FQ My first program was a Tic Tac Toe game in Visual Basic 6.0, took me like a friggin month! My first useful program, was a Balancing Chemical Equations-Cracker, also in Visual Basic. As a sophmore in highschool, my science teacher had 3 extra credit problems that would go to a coming exam. The first two were crazy hard, the third one was impossible (they didnt teach linear algebra in my school) so i jotted down the equations and spent the next 3 days working night and day to come up with a program that would solve it by trying all possible combinations. I received 5 extra points on my exam :) for a total of 101, woot woot! I wasnt interested in getting a high grade, as an illigal immigrant i realized it wouldnt do much for me, what drove me was the desire to create something, something useful. Another aspiration of mine was to break the limit, the highest score is always 100, i wanted more :P I still have the note where I wrote those equations :)
