youtube/watch?v=XM4puNeq-do A significant and a deep valid point has been made here: 1. Sometimes helping with the aim of solving a problem or issue can in a strange way help making the problem worse. 2. Am not specifically talking about Sir Geldofs Ebola Aid or Band Aid for Ethiopias famine victims of the 80s. It has always been an automatic human reaction to help but sometimes how we help and at what precise time we help can be critical and crucial. 3. Example is like pouring water onto your burning stove because the frying pan with full boiling oil you forgot on the burner has now catch fire and burning out of control when a thick wet blanket or bucket of sand should have been the solution. 4. Africa is full of such problems (both man-made and non man-made) 5. What really happened to all the MILLIONS Band Aid collected? God bless Sir Geldof for his warm Irish love for Africa but I think helping collecting donations is one thing but another thing else making sure there is 110% accountability and transparency as to how the money was spent and to what degree the money made the all the difference in solving the problem there and then and also how the money prevents the problem happening again with all this typical Africas corruption mixed with Western mafioso established structures such as the banks or even phone companies in UK who charges obscene amount on each pound just to forward our donations. In other words taking the bloody liberties to enriched themselves as poor folks die daily.
