And having said this, all his adversaries were ashamed, and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him . 18. And he said : What kingdom of God like ? And with nothing to compare it to ? 19. Like a mustard seed , which a man took and cast into his garden , and it grew and became a large tree , and the birds make nests in its branches. 20. And he said, What shall I compare the kingdom of God ? 21. It is like leaven , which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened . 22. Strive to enter through the narrow door , because I tell you, many will seek to enter and will not be able . 25. Then you will begin to say , We have eaten and drunk in thy presence , and thou hast taught our streets . 27. He will say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are : depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity . 28. Shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac , Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God and himself - thrust out . 29. And they will come from east and west , north and south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God . 30 . And behold, there are last who will be first, and there are first which shall be last . 31 . The same day there came certain Pharisees, saying unto him, Come and go from here, for Herod wants to kill you . 32 . And he said unto them , Go and tell that fox , Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow , and the third day I shall be perfected . 33 . But today and tomorrow, and the day I have to travel , because it is not a prophet perish out of Jerusalem. 34 . Jerusalem Jerusalem You who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you! How often I wanted to gather your children together , as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and ye would not ! 35. Behold, your house is left unto you desolate you . But I tell you : you will not see me again until you say, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord .
