It was a stressful and unpredictable time in my life, but this album really opened my eyes and lit the fire within me to pursue what I truly want in life. It was my catalyst for change and progress. As I Lay Dying was the first metal band I seriously got into, and even listening to this song today I can feel my blood traveling through my limbs. And THAT is when you know the metal is doing its job. \m/
