yum just finished my supper; pit grill pork steak and cabbage mixed veggie pack on the pit with baked beans and fruit salad for desert for my supper tonight. i ate more than i have eaten in over a week lets hope it stays down. was so good. the mixed veggie grill pack is wrapped in 3 layers of heavy foil and sealed real good l it had 1/2 head of cabbage more usually wash it and just pour the excess water off leave the cabbage wet but no excess water and 4 medium to large potatoes cut in half length wise then in quarter each piece and 4 to 5 carrots but in half lengthwise then in 2 to 2 1/2 inches long 2 big onions and 1 bell pepper seasoned wit cilantro chopped finely or cilantro flakes and parsley chopped finely or parsley flakes about es about 2 teaspoons each and a little paprika and a dash or two of ground cayenne pepper 1teaspoon mrs dash table blend ; and 1/2 pod of garlic about 5 or 6 individual cloves of garlic chopped from the pod 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper juice of 1 lemon drizzled all over the veggie mix add 1 tables spoon of light brown sugar and about 1/2 stick of melted butter or 2 tablespoons bacon grease drizzled all over the veggie mix and 4 or 5 slices crispy bacon crumbled; one to two teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce ; stir it up well place it on the foil in a big pile seal it in the first layer of foil then in the second layer seal completely if you are unsure use a 3rd layer do them in different directs make it very tight. put on a very hot pit for 45 minutes. cook your meat beside the veggie pack start the meat 15 to 2 minutes before your veggie pack is due to come off depending on how done you like your meat. if you like pepper sauce on cabbage it is excellent on the veggie mix . enjoy it .
