zacs getting better every day. meds are so important, people have no idea. media portrays even the most severest cases of schizophrenia and other psychotic illnesses as a two-pill job...in reality, it takes months of skilled titration to get doses that maximize relief of symptoms while minimizing some horrible side effects. zac is studying for his drivers license today-hes motivated and buckled down to work. as much as he wanted to, he was not able to do that last month. mental illness is a waiting game, with baby steps producing all the progress, and a few small missteps sometimes erasing all youve gained. and some cases are untreatable, no matter what Law and Order detectives say...We must provide medical solutions, Period. (Dont forget when you vote, that some congressman has a say in how your child will be treated, or not, when he becomes ill...)
