Hôm nay báo Người Đưa Tin của Hội Luật Gia VN cho đăng bài với tít Giá như đưa phong bì thì có lẽ Xuân sẽ không chết , nói về cái chết tức tưởi của chị Xuân khi vào Bệnh viên đa khoa huyện Thiệu Hóa , tỉnh Thanh Hóa để sinh con . Lúc mới nhập viện thì tình trạng sức khỏe của mẹ và con đều được khẳng định là tốt , nhưng chỉ qua đêm thì cả 2 đã vong mạng khi bác sĩ trực lười không chịu mổ lúc chị chuyển bụng sinh khó . Bài báo nói lên điều mà người dân VN nào cũng biết , đó là đi khám bác sĩ , đi vào bệnh viện mà không chịu lo lót phong bì cho bác sĩ và y tá thì đừng hòng được đối xử tử tế hay được chữa trị tận tình . Today the website Nguoi Dua Tin of The Bar Association of Viet Nam posted an article with the title If only the family had bribed the doctors , maybe Mrs Xuan would not have died , referring to the tragic death of the poor pregnant mother who went to the Multi Disciplinary Hospital of Thieu Hoa district , Thanh Hóa province to give birth . At arrival both mother and fetus s health were confirmed to be good , but just overnight both lost their lives as the doctors and nurses were too lazy to do the operation even when she was having difficulties during delivery . This article raised the concern that is well known to anyone living in Viet Nam : that is when one goes to the doctor or to hospital , if one does not bribe with cash upfront then one would not be treated kindly , let alone being cared for properly . If only the family had bribed the doctors , maybe Mrs Xuan would not have died ? Well , one can STILL die , just as in the case of Mrs Xuan , who had to pay upfront 50 millions dong for a cosmetic procedure , to be performed by Dr Manh Tuong , resident of Bach Mai Hospital , to have her eyebrows tattooed , her tummy lipo suctioned and her breasts augmented , yet she still died on the operating table and her body was thrown into a river by the very doctor she trusted , as he was trying to cover up the crime . Living in a society where all the cultural and moral traditions of our ancestors for thousands of years as well as the values and spirit of major religions are repressed and destroyed , where the doctors upon graduating do not take the Hippocrates oath , to honour responsibility and conscience , but instead would to swear allegiance to the communist regime and to follow the moral examples of Ho Chi Minh , a dictator and an aggressor who denied his parents and family , killed his wife and not acknowledge his own son , then one can expect to die tragically any time , even with a sizable bribe ! It would be useless then to try to complain to God ! The only way to ensure that oneself and ones family wont be met with such tragic death is to stand up to demand ones full legal rights , and refuse to live under this authoritarian , inhumane regime any longer .
