Марсель would like your help. He says: Hi Bengal Lovers, I am a member of the group since this May when we first got our lovely friend Olivier. I need some advice. My wife is allergic, in the very beginning we thought that she isnt allergic to bengals. We went to the breeder everything was ok, so we got our gorgeous cat. For two weeks there was no problem, but after that the allergy woke up. Its not very bad and all the time. But every week or so after spending with cat full day my wife is sneezing and getting runny nose. Of course after she will take the allergy pills, it stops for a moment, but its not a point to take them all the time. We have tried bayer spray for cat to avoid the allergy, plus the sprays for air and furniture. What is more every two weeks Oliver is having a bath and we are cleaning his litter very often plus we ventilate our apartment, vacuum (hoover) the floors. She is washing her hands after every contact with cat. Unfortunately her sneezing and runny nose are only getting more and more onerous. I would like to add that she already had desensitization. I dont really know what more we can do ... Oliver is so friendly, he loves to sit down on your knees, he love when you pet him... such a fantastic friend It is heartbreaking when we think that we are supposed to sell him hes nearly 9months, and we only head him 6months What is more, we have leather furniture, nearly no carpets, floor is washed every week. Oliver is not sleeping with us and not allowed to enter the bedroom .Anything more that we can do?
