He began playing the violin when he was six years old. His teachers in Argentina were Odina Lestani, Sebastian Masci and Rafael Gintoli. He studied in the Rubin Academy of Jerusalem (Israel) with Roi Shiloah and now he studies in the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music Tel Aviv University with Ilya Konovalov. He was awarded 1st place at the 2002 Concertino La Rioja Violin Competition in Argentina. He had important mentions from orchestras, cultural institutions and the government of Argentina, Perú and México. He was member of the Orquesta de Camara Infantil de Cordoba, Orquesta Sinfonica de la Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, Orquesta de Camara Suzuki de la Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, Orquesta de Camara Guarnerius, Orquesta de Cámara ArgenInta and Camerata Bariloche. Actually he is member of the Orquesta Sinfonica Nacional Argentina. He also has long experience playing tango. He worked as concertmaster in the Orquesta Provincial de Música Ciudadana de Córdoba and he was member of important argentinian tango ensembles. He won this year a tango concours of the Fondo Nacional de las Artes Argentina to record a CD. He has made guest appearances with many leading orchestras, including the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, Orquesta Sinfónica del Chaco, Orquesta de Cuerdas UNVM, Orquesta de Cámara de la Ciudad de México (DF), Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Guadalajara (México), Orquesta de Cámara de Cuajimalpa (México), Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Huancayo (Perú). Santiago Rojas Huespe (piano) was born in 1986 in Argentina. He began playing the piano when he was eight years old. His teachers in Argentina were Norma Sevlever, Lidia Mazzieri and Jorge Fontenla. He studied in Mexico with the german teacher Marita Zimmer. He had his first degree in the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (Argentina) and now he is doing the Master of Music in the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music Tel Aviv University with the famous piano teacher Tomer Lev. He was awarded 1st place at the 1999 Young International Competition Córdoba-Argentina. He was member of the Orquesta de Camara Infantil de Cordoba, Orquesta Sinfonica de la Universidad Nacional de Cordoba. He has made guest appearances with many leading orchestras, including the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, Orquesta Sinfónica del Chaco, Orquesta de Cuerdas UNVM, Orquesta de Cámara de la Ciudad de México (DF), Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Guadalajara (México), Orquesta de Cámara de Cuajimalpa (México), Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Huancayo (Perú). He also has experience as orchestral conductor. He conducted Orquesta de Camara Suzuki Universidad Nacional de Córdoba for seven years. He usually is invited to conduct important orchestras in many countries. As piano teacher he works in Universidad Nacional de Córdoba but he besides gives pedagogical courses and master classes in latinoamerican countries about progressive study repertoire for piano and orchestra he has developed.
