ובי של המזרח There are only 3 types of days: 1) New Moons, 2) work days, 3) Sabbaths. So the 30th day falls into a category of New Moon Observance, but it is not a New Moon Day. I had researched that, Id have to re-find some of the historical info. I noticed that historically there were two days of New Moon observance. The 30th day is a day of no buying or selling, but you can start a fire, and you can cook, and you can travel. Other than that I cant be definite. It reminds me of what you see in a larger picture of preparing for a Jubilee year. In a Jubilee year you have to put up food for the sixth year, the 7th Sabbath year, the 8th Jubilee year, and enough to last until harvest in the 9th year. For the Sabbath of the 29th, you gather enough food for the 28th preparation day, the 29th Sabbath day, the 30th NM observance day, and the 1st New Moon day. I should let someone else attempt to answer this question. Yoel is MUCH more qualified to answer than I am. Enoch 73:4 And her FIRST PHASE in the east comes forth on the THIRTIETH morning: and on that day she becomes VISIBLE, and constitutes for you the FIRST phase of the moon on the THIRTIETH day together with the sun in the portal where the sun rises. Enoch 73:4 says the day you see (she becomes visible) the FVC (the New Moon) is day 30. The sighting of the New Moon is not New Moon day. The day you sight the New Moon, half of the day was spent in the conjunction. So New Moon Day (day 1) is the day after you sight the New Moon (FVC). There were special sacrifices done on New Moon Day. A numerical calendar date is from morning to morning, not evening to evening. If you wait until you see the crescent at night to determine what day is the New Moon Day, and then say when you see the FVC (New Moon) that the New Moon day began earlier that morning, then how did the priests know which day to do the sacrifices? If you dont know until the day is over if it is the New Moon, you missed the daytime to start the sacrifices. But when you see the FVC the evening before the next morning that begins New Moon Day, now you know what day to do your sacrifices. Even if you dont accept the Book of Enoch as inspired Scripture, you might consider Enoch as a historical witness of how Israel observed the heavenly calendar. 21 de octubre a la(s) 19:09 · Me gusta · 1 Yoel Yahudah Ysrayl Elisheba BatYah Shalom. The 30th Day is always the Last Day of the Month. It is the Day that the 1st phase of the Moon comes forth. In ancient times, the 30th Day was observed as: New Moon the first & the first Day of a New Month was observed as: New Moon the 2nd. Thus, the weight of evidence suggest that 2 Days of New Moon were observed. (1 Samuel) gives this a very credible thought. 21 de octubre a la(s) 19:58 · Me gusta · 1 Yeshayhwh Ben Yisrael The Moon calendar had 13 month of 28 days each not 30. Julius Cesar was the first to change the calendar that YHWH had established. After doing those changes, Julius Cesar divided the 28 days of the 13 month among the 12 month having then months longer than 28 days. Go and count the extra days that had been added to the 12 months and you will see that you come with the 29 extra days which is 28 plus 1 day to complete the 365 day of a year. 21 de octubre a la(s) 20:13 · Me gusta Elisheba BatYah Ok. I definitely do not believe we should be observing Shabbat by the Roman calendar, but with that said, the explanations of the Lunar Shabbat moon observance that I receive, make absolutely no sense whatsoever. (I am not saying anything against any of you personally, please do not take it that way). But it seems that no one can explain it with any clear concise reasoning behind it. And no one can give any scripture for it. Ruby your long explanation has no scripture to back it. Enoch is not scripture. Enoch has Yah getting off of His throne to put someone else on it...and Noah speaking and levitating at birth, and other crazy things..I do not trust that book whatsoever. Yoel what do you mean by this {It is the Day that the 1st phase of the Moon comes forth}. How can it be the last day of the month and the 1st phase of the moon coming forth, at the same time? Oy. This is very confusing. 21 de octubre a la(s) 20:14 · Me gusta · 1 Yeshayhwh Ben Yisrael Elisheba: It is very confusing because we do not have the right time yet, but just as our forefathers did not have the right time in Egypt and YHWH gave them the right time when they got save from the furnace of affliction, we will also be saved and given the right time directly from YHWH. The Shabbat must be keep from dark sixth day till dark seventh day. I asked the sister and the brother to explain why they keep the shabbat beginning in the morning and their answer was very confusing to me too. 21 de octubre a la(s) 21:30 · Me gusta Elisheba BatYah Yeshayhwh Ben Yisrael Thank you for your response I appreciate it. 21 de octubre a la(s) 22:18 · Me gusta Zining Messianic I really admire the atmosphere of this group discussion, each and everyone of you care and hold one and for each other , somewhat encouraging each to one another despite diversities of spiritual level insights and despite coupling with one another ...Ver más 22 de octubre a la(s) 4:14 · Editado · Me gusta · 3 Zining Messianic Thank you so much my dear beloved brother Yoel.... you and my beloved brother Iahunathan Iesrael have been my mentor in this Lunar Sabbath... and always will, my gratitude of thanks to you both, I am adding to your posting..and the rest of this group . something you missed, I just learned this from you... my dear brother, please correct me , if there is need... read my next posting please.... just showing you that your pupil has learned from you.. he:)..he:) 22 de octubre a la(s) 4:44 · Editado · Me gusta · 3 Zining Messianic the main issue of this discussion was the question of sister Elisheba BatYah and sister Aubrey Romero posted 10 hours ago, justly above, herein re-quoted: RE:
