Global Fellowship Do you know what your community needs and also have idea or solution to that need? Get funded by the Echoing Green Global Fellowship program and break the status quo. Echoing Green invites all the emerging social entrepreneurs in their start-up stage to apply for the opportunity to get financial and in-kind assistance to implement their idea/organization and be able to make an impact in the community. Individuals will be funded for their new ideas to create sustainable organizations. If you have an established projects (those past the startup phase) or discrete projects (projects with set beginning and end points), this opportunity is not for you!. The Black Male Achievement (BMA) Fellowship Individuals dedicated to improve the life outcomes of black men and boys in the United States can apply for Black Male Achievement Fellowship. In partnership with the Open Society Foundations, Echoing Green supports the social entrepreneurs who are starting up new and innovative organizations in the field of black male achievement. The BMA Fellows can belong to any population regardless of race, gender or ethnicity but all applicants should be able to articulate clearly why they feel a deep and long-lasting commitment to making change in this particular community. The limitation is, if you are applying for the project based in the United States, you must have American work authorization (i.e., citizenship, permanent residence status, or a work visa). Need some examples? The past fellows are generating new ideas and best practices in the areas of education, family, and work, such as initiatives related to fatherhood, mentoring, college preparatory programs, community-building, supportive wage work opportunities, communications, and philanthropic leadership. Climate Fellowship The ZOOM Foundation partners with Echoing Green to support next-generation social entrepreneurs committed to working on innovations in mitigation and adaptation to climate change. The Echoing Green invests in promising leaders who recognize the future impact that climate change will have on their health, communities, and economic outlook. Proposals are considered for the full spectrum of responses to the climate crisis – from innovative technology in Silicon Valley to community organizing in the developing world.
