Regarding the place i went im sure u have noticed the name on poctures. Maldive is really a heaven on earth, it was a fantastic trip for us, it is absolutrly gorgeous, i dont think there is anywhere in the world like it. Apart from the capital which is male, maldives has so many (~400) little islands which they made some of these island as a hotel. So each island is one hotel, literally u ave surrounded by amazing indian ocean. The underwater is absoutely great, we did lot of snorkelling and they have also some excusrion which u can take like manta ray, fishing, hupping un-onhabbited islands etc. i recommend it to everyone because its so relaxing and u forget about everything. So yeah definitely go. Its quite close to you. For us we had a transit in dubai where from there it takes you 4 hr to get there. Anything else u like to know let me know. Of course u can go anytime of the year coz its a tropical country the weather always between 28-32 C. Oh well maldives i think is the best place for honeymoon coz its its beautifull, relaxing, its not like busy places u go on holiday and 99% are couples. Well the prices r abit expensive from here coz if the distance, well generally maldive is more expensive from other places but it really woth it. I found a good deal from an online agnecy orherwise they were more expensive on other sites. We went to adaaran club rinanalhi. All the resorts are nice in maldive and high quality so i think find the best deal from there. It should be chepaer from there coz the nearer distance. There is another place called Seychelles which its still in indian ocean but another side from maldive, u can check on the map.its gorgeous there as well but its more expensive but it hasnt got the beauthy of being in a little island in middle of ocean. Maritius is another one just belowe the seychells which is nice as well an cheaper than the other two.any more info u need feel free to ask . Congratulation again to you both.
