The PHP Developer is expected to be able to perform all aspects of the development tasks, including front-end, back-end, and database development. The applicant is expected to possess strong problem solving skills, programming, testing and troubleshooting skills. The applicant is to be in UAE. Having GCC experience is mandatory. Formal Education & Certification - A Bachelors Degree or equivalent and eight years of general experience or Masters Degree with five years of general experience are required. - Knowledge, Experience, Skills & Abilities - Must have deep expertise in various web and mobile web applications development using PHP Yii framework, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, XML, SQL, MySQL 5, - Practical exposure and/or experience with some or all of the following: AWS Ec2, RDS, S3, Git, SVN. - Strong problem solving and analytical abilities are required. - Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a deadline driven environment. - Ability to work successfully both independently and in a team setting. - Excellent understanding of database modeling. - Excellent Software Development Lifecycle. - Excellent analytical skills. - Creative problem-solving skills and an ability to apply business logic to development requirements. - Strong knowledge of database and information architecture, with web application integration. - Cross-browser/platform experience. - Experience working with, designing and developing Content Management Systems. - Knowledge of internet advertising, e-mail marketing, traffic metrics, or affiliate advertising is a definite plus. - Needs to be detail-oriented, resourceful, and work well under pressure. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. - Problem Decomposition: Use of appropriate data structures and algorithms and comes up with generic/object-oriented code that encapsulate aspects of the problem that are subject to change. - Systems Decomposition: Able to visualize and design complex systems with multiple product lines and integrations with external systems. - Ability to design operations support systems like monitoring, reporting, fail-overs etc. - Ability to understand and communicate thoughts/design/ideas/specs in an unambiguous manner and adjusts communication as per the context. - Excellent Error Handling: Codes to detect possible exceptions and creation of strategy in all layers of code. - Database: Can do basic database administration, performance optimization, index optimization, write advanced select queries, able to replace cursor usage with relational SQL, understands how data is stored internally, understands how indexes are stored internally, understands how databases can be mirrored, replicated etc. - Tool Knowledge: Has actually written tools and scripts, added bonus if theyve been published على المهتمين ارسال السيرة الذاتية الى الايميل hr@jordantalent الرجاء كتابة المسمى الوظيفي في خانة الموضوع
