حا ولت ان اتصل لمعايدته ، فلم يجب ، ارسلت له رسالة معايدة ، ولم يرد عليها على غير عادة . لم يخطر في بالي ان استاذنا الكبير واحد اهم اعمدة اساتذة جراحة الفكين الدكتور عصام شعبان كان على سرير الموت . اليوم مساء غادرنا استاذنا الكبير الى دنيا الحق ، تاركا اثرا كبيرا وافضالا جليلة في تاريخ جراحة الفكين في سورية والشرق الاوسط. كان خير استاذ ، وانبل زميل . نسأل الله ان يتغمده برحمته ، ولترقد روحه بسلام Today.. we lost one of the great masters of Oral &Maxillofacial Surgery professors in syria and middle east , professor Isam Shaaban who passed away this evening. Prof. Shaaban was the founder and president of Syrian Association of Oral surgery . Dean ,As well as professor and head of Oral surgery department in Damascus university school of dentistry, . he was a great professor, and wonderful collegue. We will always remember him and feel grateful to his sincere effort to thousands of dentists and oral surgeons in Syria and the middle east. May his soul rest in peace.
