في ظلّ الرقابة الاعلامية المفروضة على انتفاضة شعب البحرين، يسرّنا في نسوية استضافة صحافيين من البحرين، راشد الغائب وحسن محفوظ، يوم الأربعاء 28 أيار من أجل تقديم قراءتهما للوضع في البحرين. الجزء الأول من الندوة سيركز على التغطية الصحفية غير الرسمية عبر الاعلام الاجتماعي للضغط من أجل مطالب النساء والشباب. أما الجزء الثاني، سينظر في تاريخ البحرين والتعدد الثقافي فيه، لا سيّما تركيبته بين أكثرية وأقليّات متعددة. In light of the media/news censorship on the Bahraini peoples uprising, we are fortunate to have two journalists, Rashid El Ghaeb and Hasan Mahfouz, in Nasawiya this Wednesday give us their input on the situation. The first part of the talk will focus on the usage of informal news reporting using social media and the push for the demands of women and young people. While the second part will look into the history, cultural diversity, and minorities/majority composition of Bahrain.
