لماذا يتكرر عضّ اللسان وباطن الخد، وما هو العلاج؟ هناك عدة أسباب تجعل الانسان يعضّ لسانه، او باطن خده بدون قصد. وهذه هي الأسباب: 1- عدم انتظام الأسنان اي وجود اسنان معوجة، او وجود تركيبات اسنان صناعية غير ثابتة تماما والتي قد تنزلق في أي لحظة. 2- الكلام أثناء الأكل. 3- سلوك او عادة عصبية عند بعض الأشخاص بعضّ باطن الخد. 4- بعض الاشخاص يقومون بطحن اسنانهم (صرير الاسنان) خاصة اثناء النوم، وقد يتأذى اللسان احيانا. اذن؛ الأسباب التي تجعل الانسان يعضّ لسانه ليست ارادية؛ بمعنى انه لا يستطيع التحكم فيها، وتعتمد قوة العض وشدة الألم الذي يسببه، على المسبب، وقد تختلف شدته من مرة الى اخرى، وقد يصل في بعض الحالات الى حدوث جرح ونزف الدم. في حالة حدوث النزف فقد ينزف كثيرا وذلك لأم اللسان يحتوي على الكثير من الأوعية الدموية العلاج عند الأصابة بعضة اللسان قم بالاجراءات التالية: 1- غسل الفم بمطهر لمنع الالتهاب، هذا الاجراء ضروري ومهم. 2- وضع كمادة باردة على المنطقة المصابة او مكعب ثلج ملفوف بمنديل ورقي لفترة 5 دقائق مع الضغط بلطف، هذا يساعد على وقف النزف وتسريع تخثر الدم. كنا يساعد على تخفيف الألم. 3- المحافظة بشكل مستمر على نظافة الفم لحماية الجرح من الالتهاب.
