مطلوب أطباء أطفال للعمل مع أطباء بلا حدود في إربد RECRUITMENT NOTICE - INTERNAL & EXTERNAL The French section of Médecins Sans Frontières is recruiting for its project in Irbid PAEDIATRICIANS CONTEXT Médecins Sans Frontières is a private, non-profit international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to populations in crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. Médecins Sans Frontières is seeking Pediatricians for its Pediatrics and Maternity hospital in Irbid. PROFILE Recognized medical doctor diploma/degree is required. Experience in a paediatrics ward is a must. Experience in neonatal intensive care unit is preferred. Performs competently in emergency situations. Organized and able to work under pressure. Written and verbal fluency in English and Arabic is required. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures and organises medical activities for patients in accordance with the context, MSF protocols and with universal hygiene standards, taking into consideration quality and continuity of care. Manages the care for sick and/or premature neonates (8 bed unit) Evaluates sick children in the paediatric outpatient department Uses MSF and Jordanian protocols to guide prescription of medications and treatment Attends deliveries whenever requested by the obstetrician or midwife Availability for 12-hour shifts, both day and night Collaborates with full medical team – other paediatricians, obstetricians, nurses, midwives, MSF head nurse, and MSF medical team leader – to provide the highest quality patient care WORK LOCATION: Irbid, Jordan CONTRACT: Fixed term contract Probable start date: December 2014 Applications (curriculum vitae in English + copy of certificates) must be submitted no later than the December 25, 2014 to the following email address: msff_recruitment@yahoo Please state the job title, IRBID MEDICAL DOCTOR, in English, in the Email Subject line.
