يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُواْ مَع َٱلصَّـٰدِقِين(١١٩) O you who believe! Fear Allah, and be with those who are truthful (in words and deeds)” [al-Tawbah 119] The Act Of Lying Has Been Disliked And Forbidden In Islam. Nowadays It Has Become A Habit Of People To Lie To One Another. We Need To Realise That A Relationship (Marital,Friendship,Family) Will Not Last If Theres Constant Lying Taking Place. We Should Take Heed From The Quranic Ayah And Ahaadeeth Mentioned About The Saadiqeen And Kaathibeen And Quit Lying And It Will Not Take You Far. Rather Bring You Down. (Naoothu Billaah) AHAADEETH SAHEEHAH!: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘Truthfulness is righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. A person will continue to tell the truth until he is written with Allah as one who tells the truth. Lying is evildoing, and evildoing leads to Hell. A person will keep on telling lies until he is written as a liar.’” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 5743; Muslim, 2607) It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The signs of the hypocrite are three:when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted with something, he betrays that trust.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 33; Muslim, 59)
