कल अपनी बेवकूफी का जिक्र किया तो याद आया कुछ दिन पहले ही बड़े बेटे अंकुर के साथ भी एक हादसा हुआ था,जिसे उसने बस में बैठे बैठे बड़ी तफसील में लिख कर मुझे वाट्स एप्प पे भेजा था ।seems Bevkoofiyaan runs in the family :P Major chop happened. So today, I get ready before time. Like proper 10 mins ahead of time and that too without maa waking me up. So, Im feeling like today is the start. Its a new day. Im gonna make the most of today. and what not. I leave early from home thinking Ill walk to the shuttle stop. I shut the door walk down the stairs feeling all macho about the fact that today marks the dawn of a new era and all the yes Ive done it and all that self motivating Bullshit. I greet the lady who stays downstairs and her phone rings. THATS WHEN I realise, Ive forgotten my phone inside the house. Probably the most important extension to the human race. Something that dictates, directs and probably rules mankind has been conveniently left behind in one of the corners of my house. No one is home so, Im thinking should I wait for maa to return from her morning walk or chuck the phone all together and go on with today life a boss. In this dilemma of should I or should I not. Turns out Ive lost good 10 mins. The bus has left from the stop and Im forced to wander the morning streets with stray dogs and doodh walas, newspaper walas waiting for maa to return so that I can let the 5 inch plastic creation work its way through my day, my life. Moral: when you think that finally your life is changing, for good. Itll hit you in the face and say screw you. . P. S: I did not have my house keys on me at that time.
