Meditation and contemplation are the core of our culture, not only reading...... हिरण्यगर्भः समवर्तताग्रे भूतस्य जातः पतिरेकासीत । स दाधार पृथ्वीं ध्यामुतेमां कस्मै देवायहविषा विधेम ॥ - हिरण्यगर्भ सूक्त हिरण्यगर्भ = हिरण्य + गर्भ हिरण्य = चमकता हुआ (shining)/ सोने का (Golden) / नष्ट न होने वाले पदार्थ का (made of imperishable matter) / धतूरे जैसा (जैसे धतूरे में कांटें होते हैं, उस तरह से चमकने वाला) (Like Datura......emanating) गर्भ = जीव जिसके अन्दर रहता है (where life rests)/ जिससे कुछ (पैदा) होता है (which creates something) / क्रिया विशेष से जीव का अंड में आना (process of life getting into womb) समवर्तताग्रे = समवर्तत + अग्रे समवर्तत = सम + वर्तत = सम = एक जैसा (like) / बराबर (equal) / समान (like) / एक सा (identical) / एक समान (equivalent) / सममिति (symmetry) वर्तत = होना (being) / रहना (resting) अग्रे = आगे (leading) / पहले (first) / शुरू में (In the beginning) वो था हिरण्य गर्भ सृष्टि से पहले विद्यमान वही तो सारे भूत जाति का स्वामी महान जो है अस्तित्वमान धरती आसमान धारण कर ऐसे किस देवता की उपासना करें हम हवि देकर One lord of all beings that exist, who is a Hiranyagarbha, came into being at the beginning of this symmetrical cycle. He (then) gave support to earth and skies (thus making this world which is fit for life to exist). Who is such a radiant being (deva) to whom we should offer our havi (offerings, oblation in yagna)
