सिधारी हाल्ट को आज़मगढ़ सिटी स्टेशन बनाया जाए सरायमीर आज़मगढ़ सरायमीर स्टेशन पर कैफ़ियात रुकने की बात करते करते एक समाजसेवी ने कहा कि सिधारी हाल्ट को आज़मगढ़ सिटी स्टेशन बनाया जाना चाहिए . यह पूछे जाने पर कि अभी आप सरायमीर का कष्ट दूर नहीं करा पाए तब तक सिधारी हाल्ट कहाँ पहुँच गए . तत्काल समाजसेवी का उत्तर था , दुनिया में कितना ग़म है , मेरा ग़म कितना कम है . जी हाँ समाजसेवी का तर्क सच्चा है बरसों से आज़मगढ़ सिटी, दीवानी कचहरी, कलेक्ट्री, कमिश्नरी, पीजीआई आदि सभी कार्यालयों एवं महत्वपूर्ण स्थानों तक जाने के लिए यात्री सिधारी हाल्ट पर ही उतरते हैं. हाल्ट होने के कारण एक मिनट में इतने न उतर सकते हैं न चढ़ सकते हैं , कोई गिरता है कोई घायल होता है तो किसी के बच्चे ट्रेन ही में छूट जाते हैं . समाजसेवी का कहना है कि आज़मगढ़ रेलवे संघर्ष समिति डा० तैयब , एसके सत्येन आदि तथा रेलवे परामर्शदात्री सदस्य शाहआलम कुरैशी , रियासत हुसैन आदि सभी जनहित में कार्य करने वालों से निवेदन है कि सिधारी हाल्ट पर उतरने चढ़ने वाले यात्रियों पर एक नज़र डालें तो क्या यह मांग किया जाना उचित नहीं है कि सिधारी हाल्ट को आज़मगढ़ सिटी स्टेशन बनाया जाए तथा कम से कम पांच मिनट ट्रेन रुके .
