ਸਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਏਹ ਰਤਨਾ ਖਾਣੀ ॥ Sach Naam Karathaa Purakh Eaeh Rathanaa Khaanee || सचु नामु करता पुरखु एह रतना खाणी ॥ ਸੱਚਾ ਅਸਲ ਨਾਂਮ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਾ ਮਹਿੰਗੇ ਲਾਲਾ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਹੈ ॥ True is the Naam, the Name of the Creator, the Primal Being. It is the mine of precious jewels. 14549 ਮਸਤਕਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਪਰਾਣੀ ॥ Masathak Hovai Likhiaa Har Simar Paraanee || मसतकि होवै लिखिआ हरि सिमरि पराणी ॥ ਜੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਦੇ ਉਤੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਜਨਮ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਰੱਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਬੰਦਾ ਜੱਪਦਾ ਹੈ ॥ That mortal, who has such pre-ordained destiny inscribed upon his forehead, meditates in remembrance on the Lord.
