ప్రాణం తీసిన ఫేస్ బుక్ ప్రేమ Jilted by Facebook lover, 14-year-old ends life ఫేస్ బుక్ ప్రేమ బెంగళూరులో ఓ బాలిక ప్రాణాలు తీసింది. ఫేస్ బుక్ లో పరిచయమైన యువకుడితో ప్రేమాయణం సాగించిన 14 ఏళ్ల బాలిక చివరకు మోసపోయి ప్రాణాలు తీసుకుంది. ప్రియుడు మొహం చాటేయడంతో కలత చెందిన బాలిక ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకుంది. యలహంక శేషాద్రిపురం కాలేజీలో బీకాం రెండో సంవత్సరం చదువుతున్న ఎం మనోజ్ కుమార్ ఫేస్ బుక్ లో పంపిన ఫ్రెండ్ రిక్వెస్ట్ ను తొమ్మిదో తరగతి విద్యార్థిని శిఖా(పేరు మార్చాం) ఈ ఏడాది సెప్టెంబర్ లో ఆమోదించింది. తర్వాత వీరిద్దరూ ప్రేమికులుగా మారారు. ఈ విషయం తెలిసి శిఖా తల్లిదండ్రులు ఇంట్లో ఇంటర్నెట్ కనెక్షన్ తీయించేశారు. బయట ఇంటర్నెట్ కేఫ్ ల్లో చాటుగా అతడితో చాటింగ్ చేసేది. అతడు తనను పెళ్లి చేసుకుంటాడని ఆమె ఆశపడింది. ఒకరోజు నందిని లేవుట్ లోని తన రూముకు ఆహ్వానించి శిఖాను వశపరుచుకున్నాడు. తర్వాత నుంచి అతడు శిఖాతో మాట్లాడడం మానేశాడు. ఇదంతా సరదా కోసం చేశాను, సీరియస్ గా తీసుకోవద్దు అంటూ హేళన చేశాడు. మోసపోయానని తెలుసుకున్న శిఖా మంగళవారం రాత్రి ఉరేసుకుని ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకుంది. A 14-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself at her house on Tuesday after her boyfriend allegedly dumped her via a Facebook post. In her suicide note, the girl held her boyfriend responsible for her action. The police have arrested the boyfriend, a second year B.Com. student at a Bangalore college. The girl was the eldest daughter of a lecturer. Her mother worked with a private firm. According to the police, her mother returned from work and found the door locked from inside. When nobody responded to the doorbell, she sought the help of neighbours to break open the door and found her daughter hanging. The police found a three-page suicide note in which the girl said she had opened a Facebook account in August this year. She said the boy had sent her a friend request and she accepted it. Soon they started chatting regularly and the friendship turned into a relationship. On October 14, the boy invited her to his house in Nandini Layout. They started having a physical relationship. The girl said the boy had recently become indifferent to her. She accused him of wanting her friends’ mobile numbers too. When she confronted him, he allegedly replied that he had a physical relationship with her only for fun. He then said he couldn’t marry her as he had promised to marry a girl of his parents’ choice. He sent her a message to this effect, which prompted her to take the extreme step, the police said. The girl’s mother told the police that her daughter did not have a mobile phone nor a computer at home. She would use the local cyber cafe regularly and once had used her phone. Unaware of the developments, her mother had called the boy and had warned him to stay away from her daughter, thinking he was trying to woo her. The girl requested the police to take strong action against the boy and advised her friends to avoid using Facebook, the police said.
