The Congress and BJP stand compromised on the issues of corruption, communalism and misuse of office for illegally spying on innocent citizens. The recent statement of BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate, Mr Narendra Modi that he would not like to get involved in old issues with reference to whether allegations of illegal land acquisition and corruption against Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, makes the intention of BJP highly suspect. On the other hand, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are talking about the Gujarat snoopgate, but are mysteriously silent on the UPA government’s u-turn in not probing the scandal. No leader of the Congress party is coming forward to answer the question on why the union cabinet’s December 26, 2013, decision to set-up a commission of inquiry to probe the snoopgate, in which Modi’s close aide Amit Shah was directly involved, was brought to an abrupt end.
