This is a sharp indication about what is going to come in the coming days in Sri Lanka.This violent attacks have been happened in front of the main opposition United National Party (UNP) headquarters, Sirikotha in Kotte when a clash erupted between UNP supporters and members of the government sponsored Federation of National Organizations (FNO) who were protesting there against an alleged agreement signed between UNP National Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and common opposition candidate Maithripala Sirisena. According to news reports black or waste oil was thrown and the two groups had beaten each other using wooden clubs. The clash lasted around one and half hours and finally the Police riot squad was also brought in to quell the clash. At the end, the police have safely removed the government-sponsored thugs under the heavy police security!
