කැළණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ ”ප‍්‍රඥාසාර ශාස්ත‍්‍රීය සංග‍්‍රහයේ” මංගල කලාපය එළිදකී කැළණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ භික්ෂු සංගමය මඟින් සංවිධානය කළ ”ප‍්‍රඥාසාර ශාස්ත‍්‍රීය සංග‍්‍රහයේ” මංගල කලාපය එළිදැක්වීමේ උළෙල 2015 ජනවාරි මස 13 වන දින සමාජීය විද්‍යාපීඨ පරිශ‍්‍රයේදී පැවැත්විණ. කැළණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ කුලපති ත‍්‍රිපිටක වාගීශ්වරාචාර්ය, මහෝපාධ්‍යාය, පණ්ඩිත, පූජ්‍ය වැලමිටියාවේ ධර්මකීර්ති ශ‍්‍රී කුසලධම්මාභිධාන කොළඹ හලාවත දෙදිසාවේ ප‍්‍රධාන සංඝනායක ස්වාමීන්ද්‍රයන්වහන්සේ සහ කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ උපකුලපති මහාචාර්ය සුනන්ද මද්දුම බණ්ඩාර මහතාගේ ප‍්‍රධානත්වයෙන් පැවැති මෙම අවස්ථාවට සමාජීය විද්‍යා පීඨයේ පීඨාධිපති මහාචාර්ය ඒ. එච්. එම්. එච්. අබයරත්න මහතා, මානව ශාස්ත‍්‍ර පීඨයේ පීඨාධිපති මහාචාර්ය ලක්ෂ්මන් සෙනෙවිරත්න මහතා, පාලි හා බෞද්ධ අධ්‍යයන අංශයේ ආචාර්ය මණ්ඩලයේ ස්වාමීන්වහන්සේලා ඇතුළු අධ්‍යයන කාර්යමණ්ඩල සාමාජිකයින් සහ විද්‍යාර්ථීන් රැසක් සහභාගී වූහ. The Inaugural Volume of “Prangnasara Journal” of University of Kelaniya The launch of the inaugural volume of “Prangnasara Journal” organized by the Bikku Society of University of Kelaniya was held at the Faculty of Social Sciences on 13th January 2015. The event was presided over by the Honourable Chancellor of University of Kelaniya, Thripitaka Vageshvaracharya, Panditha, Venerable Valamitiyawe Dharmakeerthi Shri Kusaladhammaabidhana thero – the Chief Prelate of the Colombo and Chilaw regions and the Vice-Chancellor of University of Kelaniya, Prof. Sunanda Madduma Bandara. The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. A.H.M.H. Abeyrathne, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Prof. Lakshman Senevirathne, and many of the academic staff including the venerable reverends attached to the academic staff of the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies participated in this event.
