ထား /htar/ = Past tense indicator စားတယ္ /sar del / can be both I ate and I eat cos there is no extra past indicator. However if you put /htar/ or /keဲ့/ or /lite/ ... it indicates the past. These have different past tense sense. Today i will be talking about ထား /htar/. လုပ္ထားတယ္ /lote htar tel/ = (I) did (it). ေျပာထားတယ္ /pyaw htar del/ = (I) talked (about it.) မနက္က ခ်က္ထားတယ္ /ma net ka chet htar del/ = (I) cooked this morning. သူနဲ့ေျပာထားတယ္ /thu ne pyaw htar del/ = (I) talked with him.
