A volunteer writes: Everyone here at the Care Center is in love with this handsome guy, a champion who has captured our hearts. Whether hes smartly striding in the park or playing ball in the backyard, Ethan sparkles with that special something that makes everyone want to be his friend. Zipping along at the park, Ethan is the quintessential canine companion, checking in every so often and passing other dogs with ease. When we pause for a quiet moment on a park bench, he hops up gently and stays close, showing respect for the concept of personal space. His easy going style is interrupted only by the foraging squirrels who tempt him by skittering across the pathway! But all ends well with a quick leash reminder and were back striding along. Free in the backyard, Ethan is a wonderful ballplayer, deftly catching tossed balls and retrieving thrown ones with practiced expertise. Spend a little time with Ethan and itll appear quite likely that someone spent some quality time with him, as he takes care of business once outside, comes when called, and responds promptly to sit and shake paw. Hes a little quick when taking treats and might benefit from a few remedial reminders, but hes always alert and seems anxious to please!
