How seriously sad that this girl who is beyond sweet and loved by all the volunteers, was brought in COVERED in fleas and was kept outside alone with a wood plank as her bed, and no blanket. NO BLANKETS!!! AND OUTSIDE ALONE IN THE DARK, COLD AND RAINY NIGHT!!!This is care? Where is her hero? Coco’s asking why nobody’s coming for her. Sitting in a cramped cage at Brooklyn ACC, she’s just not sure what she ever did to deserve such a cruel fate. Did you ever see such an expressive, pretty face? Coco’s tried very hard to be the lady she really is. She posed for all those great volunteer pictures—take a look and you’ll fall in love. Coco’s had her behavioral eval and did well. She didn’t care about that long stare, the paw squeeze, the hand trying to get her toy, her food and her rawhide and got 1’s and 2’s on those items. When that strange dog came into the room, she rushed over expectantly but, as the assessor said, “showed no aggression”. But being young and pretty and having THAT face counts for little at ACC, and they’ve put Coco on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. So tonight, Coco needs that special someone who’s already fallen in love with her, who can give her the home, the training, the love she is so entitled to. Are you that someone? If you are, step up to foster or adopt Coco.
