ጁዝ 16፦ ከሱረቱል አል ከህፍ 75 እስከ ሱረቱል ጣሃ 135 በአላህ ስም እጅግ በጣም ሩህሩህ በጣም አዛኝ በሆነው። 18:75 ፦ አንተ ከኔ ጋር ትእግሥትን ፈጽሞ አትችልም አላልኩህምን? አለ። [Al-Khidh r] said, Did I not tell you that with me you would never be able to have patience? 18:76 ከርሷ (ከአሁኒቱ ጊዜ) በኃላ ከምንም ነገር ብጠይቅህ አትጎዳኘኝ፤ ከኔ የይቅርታን መጨረሻ በእርግጥ ደርሰሃል አለው። [Moses] said, If I should ask you about anything after this, then do not keep me as a companion. You have obtained from me an excuse. 18:77 ኼዱም፤ ወደ አንዲት ከተማ ሰዎች በመጡም ጊዜ ነዋሪዎችዋን ምግብን ጠየቁ፤ ከማስተናገዳቸውም እምቢ አሉ፤ በርሷም ውስጥ ለመውደቅ የተቃረበን ግድግዳ አገኙ (ኸድር) አቆመውም፤ (ሙሳም) ፦ በሻህ ኖሮ በርሱ ላይ ዋጋን በተቀበልክ ነበር አለው። So they set out, until when they came to the people of a town, they asked its people for food, but they refused to offer them hospitality. And they found therein a wall about to collapse, so al-Khidh r restored it. [Moses] said, If you wished, you could have taken for it a payment. 18:78 (ኸድር) አለ ፦ ይህ በኔና በአንተ መካከል መለያያ ነው፤ በርሱ ላይ መታገሥን ያልቻልክበትን ፍች እነግርሃለሁ፤ [Al-Khidh r] said, This is parting between me and you. I will inform you of the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience. 18:79 መርከቢቱማ በባሕር ለሚሠሩ ምስኪኖች ነበረች፣ ከኋላቸውም መርከብን ሁሉ በቅሚያ የሚይዝ ንጉሥ ነበረና (እንዳይቀማቸው) ላነውራት ፈቀድኩ፤ As for the ship, it belonged to poor people working at sea. So I intended to cause defect in it as there was after them a king who seized every [good] ship by force. 18:80 ወጣቱም ልጅማ፥ ወላጆቹ ምእምናን ነበሩ፤ (ቢያድግ) ትእቢትንና ክህደትንም የሚያስገድዳቸው መሆኑን ፈራን፤ And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief. 18:81 ጌታቸውም በንጹሕነት ከርሱ በላጭን፣ በእዝነትም ከርሱ በጣም ቀራቢን ልጅ ሊለውጥላቸው ፈለግን። So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy. 18:82 ግድግዳውማ፣ በከተማይቱ ውስጥ የነበሩ የሁለት የቲሞች ወጣቶች (2) ነበር በስሩም ለነርሱ የሆነ (የተቀበረ) ድልብ ነበረ፤ አባታቸውም መልካም ሰው ነበር፤ ጌታህም ለአካለ መጠን እንዲደርሱና ከጌታህ ችሮታ ድልባቸውን እንዲያወጡ ፈቀደ፤ በፈቃዴም አልሠራሁትም፤ ይህ በርሱ ላይ መታገሥን ያልቻልከው ነገር ፍች ነው፤ አለው። And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was beneath it a treasure for them, and their father had been righteous. So your Lord intended that they reach maturity and extract their treasure, as a mercy from your Lord. And I did it not of my own accord. That is the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience. 18:83 ከዙልቀርነይንም ይጠይቁሃል፤ በናንተ ላይ ከርሱ ወሬን አነባለሁ በላቸው። And they ask you, [O Muhammad], about Dhul-Qarnayn. Say, I will recite to you about him a report. 18:84 እኛ ለርሱ በምድር አስመቸነው፤ ከነገሩም ሁሉ (መዳረሻ) መንገድን ሰጠነው። Indeed We established him upon the earth, and We gave him to everything a way. 18:85 መንገድንም (ወደ ምዕራብ) ተከተለ። So he followed a way 18:86 ወደ ፀሐይ መግቢያም በደረሰ ጊዜ ጥቁር ጭቃ ባላት ምንጭ ውስጥ ስትጠልቅ አገኛት፤ ባጠገቧም ሕዝቦችን አገኘ፤ ዙልቀርነይን ሆይ! ወይም (በመግደል) ትቀጣለህ ወይም በነርሱ መልካም ነገርን (መማረክን) ትሠራለህ አልነው። Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people. Allah said, O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish [them] or else adopt among them [a way of] goodness. 18:87 የበደለውን ሰውማ ወደፊት እንቀጣዋለን፤ ከዚያም ወደ ጌታው ይመለሳል፤ ብርቱንም ቅጣት ይቀጣዋል፥ አለ። He said, As for one who wrongs, we will punish him. Then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him with a terrible punishment. 18:88 ያመነም ሰውማ፥ መልካምንም ሥራ የሠራ ለርሱ ከምንዳ በኩል መልካሚቱ (ገነት) አለችው፤ ለርሱም ከትእዛዛችን ገርን ነገር እናዘዋለን፤ (አለ)። But as for one who believes and does righteousness, he will have a reward of Paradise, and we will speak to him from our command with ease. 18:89 ከዚያም መንገድን (ወደ ምሥራቅ) ቀጠለ። Then he followed a way 18:90 ወደ ፀሐይ መውጫ በደረሰም ጊዜ፥ ለነሱ ከበታችዋ መከለያን ባላደረግንላቸው ሕዝቦች ላይ ስትወጣ አገኛት። Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had not made against it any shield. 18:91 (ነገሩ) እንደዚሁ ነው፤ እርሱም ዘንድ ባለው ነገር ሁሉ በእርግጥ በዕውቀት ከበብን። Thus. And We had encompassed [all] that he had in knowledge. 18:92 ከዚያም (ወደ ሰሜን አቅጣጫ) መንገድን ቀጠለ። Then he followed a way 18:93 በሁለቱ ጋራዎችም መካከል በደረሰ ጊዜ፥ በአቅራቢያቸው ንግ ግርን ለማወቅ የማይቃረቡ ሕዝቦችን አገኘ። Until, when he reached [a pass] between two mountains, he found beside them a people who could hardly understand [his] speech. 18:94 ዙልቀርነይን ሆይ! የእጁጅና መእጁጅ በምድር ላይ አበላሺዎች ናቸውና፥ በኛና በነሱ መካከል ግድብን ታደርግልን ዘንድ ግብርን እናድርግልህን? አሉ። They said, O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land. So may we assign for you an expenditure that you might make between us and them a barrier? 18:95 አለ ፦ ጌታዬ በርሱ ያስመቼኝ ሀብት (ከናንተ ግብር) በላጭ ነው፤ ስለዚህ በጉልበት እገዙኝ፤ በናንተና በነሱ መካከል ብርቱን ግድብ አደርጋለሁና። He said, That in which my Lord has established me is better [than what you offer], but assist me with strength; I will make between you and them a dam. 18:96 የብረትን ታላላቅ ቁራጮች ስጡኝ፥ (አላቸው)፤ በሁለቱ ኮረብታዎች (ጫፍ) መካከልም ባስተካከለ ጊዜ፣ አናፉ አላቸው፤ (ብረቱን) እሳትም ባደረገው ጊዜ የተቀለጠውን ነሐስ ስጡኝ፤ በርሱ ላይ አፈስበታለሁና፤ አላቸው። Bring me sheets of iron - until, when he had leveled [them] between the two mountain walls, he said, Blow [with bellows], until when he had made it [like] fire, he said, Bring me, that I may pour over it molten copper. 18:97 (የእጁጅና መእጁጅ) ሊወጡትም አልቻሉም፤ ለርሱ መሸንቆርንም አልቻሉም። So Gog and Magog were unable to pass over it, nor were they able [to effect] in it any penetration. 18:98 ይህ (ግድብ) ከጌታዬ ችሮታ ነው፤ የጌታዬም ቀጠሮ በመጣ ጊዜ፣ ትክክል ምድር ያደርገዋል፤ የጌታየም ቀጠሮ የተረጋገጠ ነው፤ አለ። [Dhul-Qarnayn] said, This is a mercy from my Lord; but when the promise of my Lord comes, He will make it level, and ever is the promise of my Lord true. 18:99 በዚያም ቀን ከፊላቸውን በከፊሉ የሚቀላቃሉ አድርገን እንተዋቸዋለን፤ በቀንዱም ይነፋል መሰብሰብንም እንሰበስባቸዋልን። And We will leave them that day surging over each other, and [then] the Horn will be blown, and We will assemble them in [one] assembly. 18:100 ገሀነምንም በዚያ ቀን ለከሐዲዎች በጣም ማቅረብን እናቀርባታለን። And We will present Hell that Day to the Disbelievers, on display - 18:101 ለነዚያ ዓይኖቻቸው ከግሣጼዬ በሺፋን ውስጥ ለነበሩትና መስማትንም የማይችሉ ለነበሩት (እናቀርባታላን)። Those whose eyes had been within a cover [removed] from My remembrance, and they were not able to hear. 18:102 እነዚያ የካዱት፥ ባሮቼን ከኔ ሌላ አማልክት አድርገው መያዛቸውን (የማያስቆጣኝ አድርገው) አስቡን? እኛ ገሀነምን፥ ለካዲዎች መስተንግዶ አዘጋጅተናል። Then do those who disbelieve think that they can take My servants instead of Me as allies? Indeed, We have prepared Hell for the disbelievers as a lodging. 18:103 ፦ በሥራዎች በጣም ከሳሪዎቹን እንንገራችሁን? በላቸው። Say, [O Muhammad], Shall we [believers] inform you of the greatest losers as to [their] deeds? 18:104 እነዚያ እነሱ ሥራን የሚያሳምሩ የሚመስላቸው ሲሆኑ፥ በቅርቢቱ ሕይወት ሥራቸው የጠፋባቸው ናቸው። [They are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work. 18:105 እነዚያ እነሱ በጌታቸው ማስረጃዎችና፥ በመገናኘቱ የካዱት ናቸው፤ ሥራዎቻቸውም ተበላሹ፤ ለነሱም በትንሣኤ ቀን (ጠቃሚ) ሚዛንን አናቆምላቸውም። Those are the ones who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord and in [their] meeting Him, so their deeds have become worthless; and We will not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection any importance. 18:106 (ነገሩ) ይህ ነው፤ በክህደታቸው፣ አንቀጾቼንና መልክተኞቹንም መሳለቂያ አድርገው በመያዛቸው ፍዳቸው፥ ገሀነም ነው። That is their recompense - Hell - for what they denied and [because] they took My signs and My messengers in ridicule. 18:107 እነዚያ ያመኑና መልካም ሥራዎችን የሠሩ፥ የፊርደውስ ገነቶች ለነሱ መስፈሪያ ናቸው። Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - they will have the Gardens of Paradise as a lodging, 18:108 በርሷ ውስጥ ዘውታሪዎች ከርሷ መዛወርን የማይፈልጉ ሲሆኑ፤ (መስፈሪያቸው ነው)። Wherein they abide eternally. They will not desire from it any transfer. 18:109 ባሕሩ፥ ለጌታዬ ቃላት (መጻፊያ) ቀለሞችን በሆነ ኖሮ፣ ቢጤውን ጭማሬ ብናመጣም እንኳ፥ የጌታዬ ቃላት ከማለቋ በፊት፥ ባሕሩ ባለቀ ነበር፤ በላቸው። Say, If the sea were ink for [writing] the words of my Lord, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it as a supplement. 18:110 ፦ እኔ አምላካችሁ አንድ አምላክ ብቻ ነው ማለት፥ ወደኔ የሚወርድልኝ ቢጤያችሁ ሰው ብቻ፤ ነኝ፤ የጌታውንም መገናኘት የሚፈልግ ሰው፤ መልካም ሥራን ይሥራ፤ በጌታውም መገዛት አንድንም አያጋራ፣ በላቸው። Say, I am only a man like you, to whom has been revealed that your god is one God. So whoever would hope for the meeting with his Lord - let him do righteous work and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone. 19:1 ከ፡ሀ፡የ፡ዐ፡ጸ (ካፍ፡ ሃ፡ ያ፡ ዓይን፡ሷድ )፡ (1) Kaf, Ha, Ya, Ayn, Sad. 19:2 (ይህ) ጌታህ ባሪያውን ዘከሪያን (2) በችሮታዉ ያወሳበት ነው። [This is] a mention of the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zechariah 19:3 ጌታውን የምስጢር ጥሪ በተጣራ ጊዜ (አስታውስ) When he called to his Lord a private supplication. 19:4 ፦ አለ ጌታዬ ሆይ እኔ አጥንቴ ደከመ ፤ ራሴም በሺበት ተንቀለቀለ ፤ አንተንም በመለመኔ ጌታዬ ሆይ! (ምንግዜም) ዕደለ ቢስ አልኾንኩም ። He said, My Lord, indeed my bones have weakened, and my head has filled with white, and never have I been in my supplication to You, my Lord, unhappy. 19:5 እኔም ከበኃላዬ ዘመዶቼን (3)በእርግጥ ፈራሁ፤ ሚስቴም መካን ነበረች፣ ስለዚህ ከአንተ ዘንድ ለኔ ልጅን ስጠኝ፤ And indeed, I fear the successors after me, and my wife has been barren, so give me from Yourself an heir 19:6 የሚወርሰኝ ከያዕቆብ ቤተሰቦችም የሚወርስ የኾነን፣ (ልጅ)፤ ጌታዬ ሆይ! ተወዳጅም አድርገው። Who will inherit me and inherit from the family of Jacob. And make him, my Lord, pleasing [to You]. 19:7 ዘከሪያ ሆይ! እኛ በወንድ ልጅ፣ ስሙ የሕያ (4) በኾነ፣ ከዚህ በፊት ሞክሼን ባላደረግንለት እናበስርሃለን ፤ (አለው)። [He was told], O Zechariah, indeed We give you good tidings of a boy whose name will be John. We have not assigned to any before [this] name. 19:8 ፦ ጌታዬ ሆይ! ሚስቴ መካን የነበረች ስትኾን፣ እኔም ከእርጅና ድርቀትን በእርግጥ የደረስኩ ስኾን፣ እንዴት ልጅ ይኖርኛል! አለ። He said, My Lord, how will I have a boy when my wife has been barren and I have reached extreme old age? 19:9 (ጅብሪል) አለ (ነገሩ)እንድዚሁ ነው ጌታህ ከአሁን በፊት ምንም ያልነበርከውን የፈጠርኩህ ስኾን፣ እርሱ በኔ ላይ ቀላል ነው፤ አለ። [An angel] said, Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, It is easy for Me, for I created you before, while you were nothing. 19:10 ጌታዬ ሆይ! (እንግዲያስ) ለኔ ምልክትን አድርግልኝ አለ፤ ምልክትህ ጤናማ ሆነህ ሳለህ ሦስት ሌሊትን (ከነቀናቸዉ) ሰዎችን ለማነጋገር አለመቻልህ ነዉ ፤ አለው። [Zechariah] said, My Lord, make for me a sign. He said, Your sign is that you will not speak to the people for three nights, [being] sound. 19:11 ከምኲራቡም በሕዝቦቹ ላይ ወጣ፤ በጧትና በማታ (ጌታችሁን) አወድሱ በማለትም፣ ወደነሱ ጠቀሰ። So he came out to his people from the prayer chamber and signaled to them to exalt [ Allah ] in the morning and afternoon. 19:12 የሕያ ሆይ! መጽሐፉን በጥብቅ ያዝ፣ (አልነዉ)፤ ጥበብንም በሕጻንነቱ ሰጠነዉ። [ Allah ] said, O John, take the Scripture with determination. And We gave him judgement [while yet] a boy 19:13 ከኛም የኾነን ርኅራኄ፣ ንጽሕናንም (ሰጠነው)፤ ጥንቁቅም ነበር። And affection from Us and purity, and he was fearing of Allah 19:14 ለወላጆቹም በጎ ሠሪ ነበር፤ ትዕቢተኛ አመጠኛም አልነበረም። And dutiful to his parents, and he was not a disobedient tyrant. 19:15 በተወለደበት ቀንና በሚሞትበትም ቀን፣ ሕያዉ ኾኖ በሚነሳበትም ቀን፣ ሰላም በሱ ላይ ይኹን። And peace be upon him the day he was born and the day he dies and the day he is raised alive. 19:16 በመጽሐፉ ዉስጥ መርየምንም ከቤተ ሰቧ ወደ ምሥራቃዊ ስፍራ በተለየች ጊዜ (የኾነዉን ታሪኳን) አዉሳ። And mention, [O Muhammad], in the Book [the story of] Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place toward the east 19:17 ከነሱም መጋረጃን አደረገች፣ መንፈሳችንንም (ጂብሪልን) ወደርሷ ላክን፤ ለርሷም ትክክለኛ ሰው ሆኖ ተመሰለላት። And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our Angel, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man. 19:18 ፦ እኔ ከአንተ በአልረሕማን እጠበቃለሁ፤ ጌታህን ፈሪ እንደ ኾንክ፣ (አትቅረበኝ) አለች። She said, Indeed, I seek refuge in the Most Merciful from you, [so leave me], if you should be fearing of Allah . 19:19 ፦ እኔ ንጹሕን ልጅ ለአንቺ ልሰጥሽ፣ የጌታሽ መልክተኛ ነኝ አላት። He said, I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy. 19:20 (በጋብቻ) ሰዉ ያልነካኝ ኾኜ፣ አመንዝራም ሳልኾን ለኔ እንዴት ልጅ ይኖረኛል! አለች። She said, How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste? 19:21 ፦ አላት (ነገሩ) እንደዚህሽ ነው ፤ ጌታሽ ፦ እርሱ በእኔ ላይ ገር ነው፤ ለሰዎችም ታምር፣ ከኛም ችሮታ ልናደርገው (ይህንን ሠራን) የተፈረደም ነገር ነዉ አለ፤ (ነፋባትም)። He said, Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter [already] decreed. 19:22 ወዲያዉኑም አረገዘችዉ፤ በርሱም (በሆድዋ ይዛዉ) ወደ ሩቅ ስፍራ ገለል አለች። So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a remote place. 19:23 ምጡም ወደ ዘንባባይቱ ግንድ አስጠጋት፣ ዋ ምኞቴ! ምነው ከዚህ በፊት በሞትኩ፣ ተረስቼም የቀረሁ በኾንኩ፤ አለች። And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion, forgotten. 19:24 ከበታቿም እንዲህ ሲል ጠራት ፦ አትዘኝ፤ ጌታሽ ከበታችሽ ትንሽን ወንዝ በእርግጥ አድርጓል። But he called her from below her, Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream. 19:25 የዘምባባይቱንም ግንድ ወዳንቺ ወዝዉዧት፤ ባንቺ ላይ የበሰለን የተምር እሸት ታረግፍልሻለችና። And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates. 19:26 ብይም፣ ጠጭም፤ ተደሰችም፤ ከሰዎችም አንድን ብታይ ፦ እኔ ለአልረሕማን ዝምታን ተስያለሁ፤ ዛሬም ሰዉን በፍጹም አላነጋግርም በይ። So eat and drink and be contented. And if you see from among humanity anyone, say, Indeed, I have vowed to the Most Merciful abstention, so I will not speak today to [any] man. 19:27 በርሱም የተሸከመቺዉ ኾና ወደ ዘመዶችዋ መጣች ፦ መርየም ሆይ ከባድን ነገር በእርግጥ ሠራሽ አሏት። Then she brought him to her people, carrying him. They said, O Mary, you have certainly done a thing unprecedented. 19:28 የሃሩን (1) እኅት ሆይ አባትሽ መጥፎ ሰዉ አልነበረም፤ እናትሽም አመንዝራ አልነበረችም አሉዋት። O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste. 19:29 ወደርሱም ጠቀሰች ፤ በአንቀልባ ያለን ሕፃን እንዴት እናናግራለን! አሉ። So she pointed to him. They said, How can we speak to one who is in the cradle a child? 19:30 (ሕፃኑም) አለ እኔ የአላህ ባሪያ ነኝ፤ መጽሐፍም ሰጥቶኛል ነቢይም አድረጎኛል። [Jesus] said, Indeed, I am the servant of Allah . He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet. 19:31 በየትም ስፍራ ብኾን ብሩክ አድርጎኛል፤ በሕይወትም እስከ አለዉ ሶላትን በመስገድ ዘካንም በመስጠት አዞኛል። And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive 19:32 ለእናቴም ታዛዥ (አድርጎኛል)፤ ትዕቢተኛ እምቢተኛም አላደረገኝም። And [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant. 19:33 ሰላምም በኔ ላይ ነው፣ በተወለድሁ ቀን፣ በምሞተበትም ቀን፣ ሕያው ኾኜ በምቀሰቀስበትም ቀን፤ And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive. 19:34 ይህ የመርየም ልጅ ዒሳ ነው፤ ያ በርሱ የሚጠራጠሩበት እዉነተኛ ቃል ነዉ። That is Jesus, the son of Mary - the word of truth about which they are in dispute. 19:35 ለአላህ ልጅን መያዝ አይገባዉም፤ (ከጉድለት ሁሉ) ጠራ፤ ነገርን በሻ ጊዜ ለርሱ የሚለዉ ኹን ነዉ ውዲያዉም ይኾናል። It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, Be, and it is. 19:36 (ዒሳ አለ) ፦ አላህም ጌታዬ ጌታችሁም ነዉና ተገዙት፤ ይህ ቀጥተኛ መንገድ ነው። [Jesus said], And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path. 19:37 ከመካከላቸዉም አሕዛቦቹ በርሱ ነገር ተለያዩ ለነዚያም ለካዱት ሰዎች፣ ከታላቁ ቀን መጋፈጥ ወዮላቸዉ። Then the factions differed [concerning Jesus] from among them, so woe to those who disbelieved - from the scene of a tremendous Day. 19:38 በሚመጡን ቀን፣ ምን ሰሚ ምንስ ተመልካች አደረጋቸዉ! ግን አመጠኞች ዛሬ (በዚህ ዓለም ) በግልጽ ስሕተተ ዉስጥ ናቸዉ። How [clearly] they will hear and see the Day they come to Us, but the wrongdoers today are in clear error. 19:39 እነሱም (አሁን) በዝንጋቴ ላይ ኾነው ሳሉ እነሱም የማያምኑ ሲኾኑ ነገሩ በሚፈረድበት ጊዜ የቁልጭቱን ቀን አስፈራራቸው። And warn them, [O Muhammad], of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded; and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness, and they do not believe. 19:40 እኛ ምድርን፣ በርሷም ላይ ያለውን ሁሉ እኛ እንወርሳለን፤ ወደኛም ይመለሳሉ። Indeed, it is We who will inherit the earth and whoever is on it, and to Us they will be returned. 19:41 በመጽሐፉ ውስጥ ኢብራሂምንም አዉሳ፤ እርሱ በጣም እውነተኛ ነቢይ ነበርና። And mention in the Book [the story of] Abraham. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet. 19:42 ላባቱ ባለ ጊዜ (አስታዉስ) ፦ አባቴ ሆይ የማይሰማንና የማያይን፣ ከአንተም ምንንም የማይጠቅምህን (ጣዖት)ለምን ትግገዛለህ? [Mention] when he said to his father, O my father, why do you worship that which does not hear and does not see and will not benefit you at all? 19:43 አባቴ ሆይ! እኔ ከዕዉቀት ያልመጣልህ ነገር በእርግጥ መጥቶልኛልና ተከተለኝ ቀጥተኛዉን መንገድ እመራሃለሁና። O my father, indeed there has come to me of knowledge that which has not come to you, so follow me; I will guide you to an even path. 19:44 አባቴ ሆይ! ሰይጣንን አትግገዛ፤ ሰይጣን ለአልረሕማን አመጠኛ ነዉና። O my father, do not worship Satan. Indeed Satan has ever been, to the Most Merciful, disobedient. 19:45 አባቴ ሆይ! ከአልረሕማን ቅጣት ሊያገኝህ ለሰይጣንም ጎደኛ ልትኾን እፈራለሁ። O my father, indeed I fear that there will touch you a punishment from the Most Merciful so you would be to Satan a companion [in Hellfire]. 19:46 (አባቱም) ኢብራሂም ሆይ አንተ ከአምላኮቼ ትተህ የምትዞር ነህን ባትከለከል በእርግጥ እወግርሃለሁ ፤ረዢም ጊዜንም ተዎኝ አለ። [His father] said, Have you no desire for my gods, O Abraham? If you do not desist, I will surely stone you, so avoid me a prolonged time. 19:47 ደህና ኹን ወደፊት ከጌታየ ምሕረትን እለምንልሃለሁ እርሱ ለኔ በጣም ርኅሩህ ነዉና አለ፤ [Abraham] said, Peace will be upon you. I will ask forgiveness for you of my Lord. Indeed, He is ever gracious to me. 19:48 እናንተንም ከአላህ ሌላ የምትግዙትንም እርቃለሁ፤ ጌታየንም እግዛለሁ፤ ጌታየን በመገዛት የማፍር አለመኾኔን እከጅላለሁ። And I will leave you and those you invoke other than Allah and will invoke my Lord. I expect that I will not be in invocation to my Lord unhappy. 19:49 እነሱንም ከአላህ ሌላ የሚግገዙትንም በራቀ ጊዜ ለርሱ ኢስሐቅንና ያዕቆብን ሰጠነው፤ ሁሉንም ነቢይ አደረግንም። So when he had left them and those they worshipped other than Allah , We gave him Isaac and Jacob, and each [of them] We made a prophet. 19:50 ለነሱም ከችሮታችን ሰጠናቸዉ፤ ለነሱም ከፍ ያለ ምስጉን ዝናን አደረግንላቸዉ። And We gave them of Our mercy, and we made for them a reputation of high honor. 19:51 በመጽሐፉ ዉስጥ ሙሳንም አዉሳ፤ እርሱ ምርጥ ነበርና መልክተኛ ነቢይም ነበር። And mention in the Book, Moses. Indeed, he was chosen, and he was a messenger and a prophet. 19:52 ከጡር ቀኝ ጎን በኩልም ጠራነው ያነጋገርነዉም ሲኾን አቀረብነው። And We called him from the side of the mount at [his] right and brought him near, confiding [to him]. 19:53 ከችሮታችንም ወንድሙን ሃሩንን ነቢይ አድርገን ሰጠነዉ። And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet. 19:54 በመጽሐፉ ኢስማዔልንም አዉሳ፤ እርሱ ቀጠሮን አክባሪ ነበረና፤ መልክተኛ ነቢይም ነበር። And mention in the Book, Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet. 19:55 ቤተሰቦቹንም በሶላትና በዘካ ያዝ ነበር፤ እጌታዉም ዘንድ ተወዳጅ ነበር። And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing. 19:56 በመጽሐፉ ኢድሪስንም (ሄኖክን) አዉሳ እርሱ እዉነተኛ ነቢይ ነበርና። And mention in the Book, Idrees. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet. 19:57 ወደ ከፍተኛም ስፍራ አነሳነዉ። And We raised him to a high station. 19:58 እነዚህ (ዐሥሩ) እነዚያ አላህ በነሱ ላይ የለገሰላቸው ከነቢያት፣ ከአዳም ዘር፣ ከኑሕ ጋር (በመርከቢቱ ላይ)ከጫናቸዉም (ዘሮች)፣ ከኢብራሂምና ከእስራኤልም ዘሮች፣ ከመራናቸውም የኾኑት፣ የአልረሕማን አንቀጾች በነሱ ላይ በተነበቡ ጊዜ፣ ሰጋጆችና አልቃሾች ኾነዉ ይወድቃሉ። Those were the ones upon whom Allah bestowed favor from among the prophets of the descendants of Adam and of those We carried [in the ship] with Noah, and of the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose. When the verses of the Most Merciful were recited to them, they fell in prostration and weeping. 19:59 ከነሱም በኋላ ሶላትን ያጎደሉ፣ (የተዉ)፣ ፍላጎቶችንም የተከተሉ መጥፎ ምትኮች ተተኩ! የገሀነምንም ሸለቆ በእርግጥ ያገኛሉ። But there came after them successors who neglected prayer and pursued desires; so they are going to meet evil - 19:60 ግን የተጸጸተና ያመነም በጎንም ሥራ የሠራ ሰዉ እነዚህ ገነትን ይገባሉ፤ አንዳችንም አይበደሉም። Except those who repent, believe and do righteousness; for those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged at all. 19:61 የመኖሪያን ገነቶች፣ ያችን አልረሕማን ለባሮቹ በሩቅ ኾነዉ ሳሉ ተስፋ ቃል የገባላቸዉን፣ (ይገባሉ)እርሱ ተስፋዉ ተፈጻሚ ነዉና፤ [Therein are] gardens of perpetual residence which the Most Merciful has promised His servants in the unseen. Indeed, His promise has ever been coming. 19:62 በርሷ ሰላምን እንጂ ዉድ ቅን ነገር አይሰሙም፤ ለነሱም በርሷ ዉስጥ፣ ጧትም ማታም ሲሳያቸዉ አላቸዉ። They will not hear therein any ill speech - only [greetings of] peace - and they will have their provision therein, morning and afternoon. 19:63 ይህች ያቺ ከባሮቻቸን ጥንቁቆች ለኾኑት፣ የምናወርሳት ገነት ናት። That is Paradise, which We give as inheritance to those of Our servants who were fearing of Allah . 19:64 (ጂብሪል፤ አለ) በጌታህም ትእዛዝ እንጂ አንወርድም፤ በፊታችን ያለው በኋላችንም ያለዉ፣ በዚህም መካከል ያለዉ ሁሉ የርሱ ነው፤ ጌታህም ረሺ አይደለም። [Gabriel said], And we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful - 19:65 (እርሱ) የሰማያትና የምድር፣ በሁለቱም መካካል ላለዉ ሁሉ ጌታ ነዉና ተገዛዉ፤ እርሱን በመግገዛትም ላይ ታገሥ፤ ለርሱ ሞክሼን ታዉቃለህን ? Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them - so worship Him and have patience for His worship. Do you know of any similarity to Him? 19:66 ሰውም፣ በሞትኩ ጊዜ ወደፊት ሕያዉ ኾኜ (ከመቃብር) እወጥጣለሁን? ይላል። And the disbeliever says, When I have died, am I going to be brought forth alive? 19:67 ሰዉ፣ ከአሁን በፊት ምንም ነገር ያልነበረ ሲኾን፣ እኛ የፈጠርነዉ መኾኑን አያስታዉስምን ? Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 19:68 በጌታህ እንምላለን፣ ሰይጣናት ጋር በእርግጥ እንሰበስባቸዋለን፤ ከዚያም በገሀነም ዙሪያ የተንበረከኩ ኾነዉ፤ በእርግጥ እናቀርባቸዋለን። So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 19:69 ከዚያም ከየጭፍሮቹ ሁሉ ከነርሱ ያንን (እርሱ) በአልረሕማን ላይ በድፍረት በጣም ብርቱ የኾነዉን እናወጣለን፤ Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 19:70 ከዚያም እኛ እነዚያን እነሱ በርሷ ለመግባት ተገቢ የኾኑትን እናዉቃለን። Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 19:71 ከእናንተም ወደ እርሷ ወራጅ እንጂ አንድም የለም፤ (መዉረዱም) ጌታህ የፈረደዉ ግዴታ ነዉ። And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed. 19:72 ከዚያም እነዚያን የተጠነቀቁትን እናድናለን፤ አመጠኞቹንም የተንበረከኩ ኾነዉ በዉስጧ እንተዋቸዋለን። Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees. 19:73 በነሱም ላይ አንቀጾቻችን ግልጽ ማስረጃዎቸ ኾነው በተነበቡ ጊዜ፣ እነዚያ የካዱት ለነዚያ ላመኑት ከሁለቱ ክፍሎች መኖሪያዉ የሚበልጠዉና ቨንጎዉም ይበልጥ የሚያምረዉ ማንኛው ነዉ ይላሉ ። And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association? 19:74 ከነሱም በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች እነሱ በቁሳቁስና በትርኢትም በጣም ያማሩትን ብዙዎችን አጥፍተናል። And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 19:75 ፦ በስሕተት ዉስጥ የኾነ ሰዉ አልረሕማን ለርሱ ማዘግየትን ያዘገየዋል፣ (1) የሚዛትባቸዉንም ወይም ቅጣቱን ወይም ሰዓቲቱን ባዩ ጊዜ፣ እርሱ ስፍራዉ መጥፎና ሰራዊቱ ደካማ የኾነዉ ሰዉ ማን እንደኾነ በእርግጥ ያዉቃሉ፤ በላቸዉ። Say, Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers. 19:76 እነዚያንም የቀኑትን ሰዎች አላህ ቅንነትን ይጨምርላቸዋል፤ መልካሞቹ ቀሪዎች (ሥራዎች) እጌታህ ዘንድ በምንዳ በላጭ ናቸዉ፤ በመመለሻም የተሻሉ ናቸው ። And Allah increases those who were guided, in guidance, and the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for recourse. 19:77 ያንንም በአንቀጾቻችን የካደዉን (በትንሣኤ ቀን) ገንዘብም ልጅም በእርግጥ እስሰጣለሁ ያለዉንም አየህን? Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]? 19:78 ሩቁን ምስጢር ዐወቀን? ወይስ አልረሕማን ዘንድ ቃል ኪዳንን ያዘ ? Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 19:79 ይከልከል (አይሰጠውም) የሚለዉን ሁሉ በእርግጥ እንጽፋለን ለርሱም ከቅጣት ጪማሬን እንጨምርለታለን። No! We will record what he says and extend for him from the punishment extensively. 19:80 (አልለኝ) የሚለዉንም ሁሉ እንወርሰዋለን፤ ብቻዉንም ኾኖ ይመጣል። And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone. 19:81 ከአላህም ሌላ አማልክትን ለነሱ መከበሪያ (አማላጅ) እንዲኾኑዋቸዉ ያዙ፤ And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor. 19:82 ይከልከሉ መገዛታቸዉን በእርግጥ ይክዷቸዋል ፤ በነሱም ላይ ተቃራኒ ይኾኑባቸዋል። No! Those gods will deny their worship of them and will be against them opponents [on the Day of Judgement]. 19:83 እኛ ሰይጣናትን በከሓዲዎች ላይ (በመጥፎ ሥራ) ማወባራትን የሚያወባሩዋቸዉ ሲኾኑ የላክን መኾናችንን አላየህምን ? Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement? 19:84 በነሱም (መቀጣት) ላይ አትቻኮል፤ ለነሱ (ቀንን) መቁጠርን እንቆጥርላቸዋለንና። So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 19:85 ምእምናንን የተከበሩ ጭፍሮች ኾነዉ፣ ወደ አልረሕማን የምንሰበሰብበትን ቀን (አስታዉስ)። On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 19:86 ከሐዲዎችንም የተጠሙ ኾነው፣ ወደ ገሀነም የምንነዳበትን (ቀን አስታውስ)። And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 19:87 አልረሕማን ዘንድ ቃል ኪዳንን የያዘ ሰዉ ቢኾን እንጂ ማማለድን አይችሉም። None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant. 19:88 ፦ አልረሕማንም ልጂን ያዘ (ወለደ) አሉ፤ And they say, The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son. 19:89 ከባድ መጥፎን ነገር በእርግጥ አመጣችሁ፤ You have done an atrocious thing. 19:90 ከርሱ (ከንግግራቸዉ) ሰማያት ሊቀደዱ፣ ምድርም ልትሰነጠቅ፣ ጋራዎችም ተንደው ሊወድቁ ይቃረባሉ፡ The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 19:91 ለአልረሕማን ልጅ አለዉ ስለ አሉ። That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 19:92 ለአልረሕማን ልጅን መያዝ አይገባውም። And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 19:93 በሰማያትና በምድር ያለዉ ሁሉ (በትንሣኤ ቀን)፣ ለአልረሕማን ባሪያ ኾነዉ የሚመጡ እንጂ ሌላ አይደሉም። There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 19:94 በእርግጥ (በዕዉቀቱ) ከቧቸዋል፤ መቁጠርንም ቆጥሯቸዋል። He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 19:95 ሁሉም፤ በትንሣኤ ቀን ለየብቻ ኾነዉ ወደርሱ መጪዎች ናቸዉ። And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 19:96 እነዚያ ያመኑና በጎ ሥራዎችን የሠሩ አልረህማን ለነሱ ዉዴታን ይሰጣቸዋል። Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 19:97 በምላሥህም (ቁርአንን) ያገራነው፣ በርሱ ጥንቁቆቹን ልታበስርበት በርሱም ተከራካሪዎችን ሕዝቦች ልታስፈራራበት ነው። So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Quran easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. 19:98 ከነሱም በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች ብዙዎችን አጥፍተናል፤ ከነሱ አንድን እንኳ ታያለህን? ወይስ ለነሱ ሹክሹክታን ትሰማለህን? And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 20:1 ጠ᎐ሀ᎐(ጣሃ)** ___________________________ ** አንተ ሰው ምድርን እርገጣት። Ta, Ha. 20:2 ቁርአንን፣ ባንተ ላይ እንድትቸገር አላወረድንም። We have not sent down to you the Quran that you be distressed 20:3 ግን አላህን ለሚፈራ ሰው መገሰጫ ይሆን ዘንድ (አወረድነው)። But only as a reminder for those who fear [ Allah ] - 20:4 ምድርንና የላይኛዎቹን ሰማያት ከፈጠረ አምላክ ተወረደ። A revelation from He who created the earth and highest heavens, 20:5 (እርሱ) አልረህማን ነው፣ በዐርሹ ላይ (ሥልጣኑ) ተደላደለ። The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. 20:6 በሰማያት ያለው፣ በምድርም ያለው፣ በመካከለኛውም ያለው፣ ከዐፈር በታችም ያለው ሁሉ፣ የርሱ ብቻ ነው። To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil. 20:7 በንግግር ብትጮህ (አላህ ከጩቱ የተብቃቃ ነው)፤ እርሱ ምስጢርን፣ በጣም የተደበቀንም ያውቃልና። And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. 20:8 አላህ ከርሱ ሌላ አምላክ የለም ለርሱ መልካሞች የሆኑ ስሞች አሉት። Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 20:9 የሙሳም ወሬ በእርግጥ መጥቶዋል፤ And has the story of Moses reached you? - 20:10 እሳትን ባየና ለቤተሰቦቹ፦ (እዚህ) ቆዩ፤ እኔ እሳትን አየሁ፤ ከርሷ ችቦን ላመጣላችሁ፤ ወይም እሳቲቱ ዘንድ መሪን ላገኝ፣ እከጅላለሁ ባለ ጊዜ፣ (አስታውስ)። When he saw a fire and said to his family, Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance. 20:11 በመጣትም ጊዜ፣ ሙሳ ሆይ በማለት ተጠራ፤ And when he came to it, he was called, O Moses, 20:12 እኔ ጌታህ እኔ ነኝ፣ መጫሚያዎችህንም አውልቅ፤ አንተ በተቀደሰው ሸለቆ በጡዋ ነህና፤ Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 20:13 እኔም መረጥኩህ፤ የሚወረድልህንም ነገር አዳምጥ፤ And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you] . 20:14 እኔ አላህ እኔ ነኝ፣ ያለ እኔ አምላክ የለምና ተገዛኝ፤ ሶላትንም (በርሷ) እኔን ለማውሳት ስገድ። Indeed, I am Allah . There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. 20:15 ሰዓቲቱ (1) በእርግጥ መጪ ናት፤ ልደብቃት እቃረባለሁ፤ ነፍስ ሁሉ በምትሠራው ነገር ትመነዳ ዘንድ፣ (መጪ ናት)። Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives. 20:16 በርሷ የማያምነውና ዝንባሌውን የተከተለውም ሰው ከርሷ፣ (2) አያግድህ፣ ትጠፋለህና። So do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his desire, for you [then] would perish 20:17 ሙሳ ሆይ! ይህችም በቀኝ እጅህ ያለችው ምንድን ናት? (ተባለ)። And what is that in your right hand, O Moses? 20:18 ፦እርሷ በትሬ ናት፤ በርሷ ላይ እደገፍባታለሁ፤ በርሷም ለፍየሎቼ ቅጠልን አረግፍባታለሁ፤ ለኔም በርሷ ሌሎች ጉዳዮች አሉኝ፣ አለ። He said, It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses. 20:19 (አላህም) ሙሳ ሆይ! ጣላት አለው። [ Allah ] said, Throw it down, O Moses. 20:20 ጣላትም፤ ወድያውም እርሷ የምትሮጥ እባብ ሆነች። So he threw it down, and thereupon it was a snake, moving swiftly 20:21 ፦ያዛት፤ አትፍራም፤ ወደ መጀመሪያ ጠባይዋ እንመልሳታለን አለው። [ Allah ] said, Seize it and fear not; We will return it to its former condition. 20:22 እጅህንም ወደ ብብትህ አግባ፣ ሌላ ታምር ስትሆን ያለ ነውር ነጭ ሆና ትወጣለችና። And draw in your hand to your side; it will come out white without disease - another sign, 20:23 ከታምራቶቻችን ታላቋን እናሳይህ ዘንድ፣ (ይህን ሰራን)። That We may show you [some] of Our greater signs. 20:24 ወደ ፈርዖን ኺድ እርሱ ወሰን አልፏልና። Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 20:25 (ሙሳም) አለ፦ጌታዬ ሆይ! ልቤን አስፋልኝ። [Moses] said, My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] 20:26 ነገሬንም ለኔ አግራልኝ። And ease for me my task 20:27 ከምላሴም መኮላተፍን ፍታልኝ። And untie the knot from my tongue 20:28 ንግግሬን ያውቃሉና። That they may understand my speech. 20:29 ከቤተሰቦቼም ለኔ ረዳትን አድርግልኝ፤ And appoint for me a minister from my family - 20:30 ሃሩንን ወንድሜን። Aaron, my brother. 20:31 ኀይሌን በርሱ አበርታልኝ። Increase through him my strength 20:32 በነገሬም አጋራው። And let him share my task 20:33 በብዙ እናጠራህ ዘንድ። That we may exalt You much 20:34 በብዙም እንድናወሳህ። And remember You much. 20:35 አንተ በኛ ነገር ዐዋቂ ነህና። Indeed, You are of us ever Seeing. 20:36 (አላህም) አለ፦ሙሳ ሆይ! ልመናህን በእርግጥ ተሰጠህ። [ Allah ] said, You have been granted your request, O Moses. 20:37 በሌላም ጊዜ ባንተ ላይ በእርግጥ ለግሰናል፤ And We had already conferred favor upon you another time, 20:38 ወደናትህ በልብ የሚፈስን ነገር ባሳወቅን ጊዜ፤ When We inspired to your mother what We inspired, 20:39 (ህጻኑን) በሳጥኑ ውስጥ ጣይው፤እርሱንም (ሳጥኑን) በባህር ላይ ጣይው፤ ባሕሩም በዳርቻው ይጣለው፤ ለኔ ጠላት፣ ለርሱም ጠላት፣ የሆነ ሰው ይይዘዋልና፣ በማለት (ባሳወቅን ጊዜ ለገስንልህ)፤ ባንተ ላይም ከኔ የሆነን መወደድ ጣልኩብህ፤ (ልትወደድና) በኔም ጥበቃ ታድግ ዘንድ፤ [Saying], Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him. And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 20:40 እህትህም በምትኼድና የሚያሳድገውን ሰው ላመላክታችሁን? በምትል ጊዜ፣ (መወደድን ጣልኩብህ)፤ ወደ እናትህም አይኗ እንዲረጋ፣ (እርሷ) እንዳታዝንም፣ መለስንህ፤ ነፍስንም ገደልክ፤ ከጭንቅም አዳንንህ፤ ፈተናዎችንም ፈተንህ፤ በመድየን ቤተሰቦችም ውስጥ (ብዙ)፣ ዓመታትን ተቀመጥክ፤ ከዚያም ሙሳ ሆይ! በተወሰነ ጊዜ ላይ መጣህ። [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him? So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 20:41 ለነፍሴም (በመልክቴ) መረጥኩህ። And I produced you for Myself. 20:42 አንተም፣ ወንድምህም፣ በታምራቶቼ ኺዱ፤ እኔንም ከማውሳት አትቦዝኑ። Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 20:43 ወደ ፈ ዖን ኺዱ፤ እርሱ ወሰን አልፏልና። Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 20:44 እርሱም ይገሠጥ፣ ወይም ይፈራ ዘንድ፤ለርሱ ልዝብን ቃል ተናገሩት። And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [ Allah ]. 20:45 ፦ጌታችን ሆይ! እኛ በኛ ላይ ክፋት በመስራት መቸኮሉን፣ ወይም ኩራትን መጨመሩን እንፈራለን፣ አሉ። They said, Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress. 20:46 (አላህም) አለ፦አትፍሩ፤እኔ በእርግጥ ከናንተ ጋር ነኝና፤ እሰማለሁ፤ አያለሁም። [ Allah ] said, Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. 20:47 ወደርሱም ኺዱ፤ በሉትም፦ እኛ የጌታህ መልክተኞች ነን፤ የእስራኤልንም ልጆች፣ ከኛ ጋር ልቀቅ፤ አታሰቃያቸውም፤ ከጌታህ በሆነው ታምር በእርግጥ መጥተንሃልና፤ ሰላምም ቀጥታን በተከተለ ሰው ላይ ይሁን። So go to him and say, Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 20:48 እኛ ቅጣቱ፣ ባስተባበለና እምቢ ባለ ሰው ላይ ነው ማለት፣ በእርግጥ ተወረደልን። Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away. 20:49 (ፈርዖንም)፦ ሙሳ ሆይ ጌታችሁ ማነው? አለ። [Pharaoh] said, So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses? 20:50 ጌታችን ያ ለፍጥረቱ፣ ነገርን ሁሉ (የሚያስፈልገውን) የሰጠ ከዚያም የመራው ነው አለው። He said, Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]. 20:51 (ፈርዖንም) የመጀመሪያይቱ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች ሁኔታ ምንድን ነው? አለ። [Pharaoh] said, Then what is the case of the former generations? 20:52 (ሙሳም) ዕውቀትዋ እጌታዬ ዘንድ በመጽሃፍ የተመዘገበ ነው፤ ጌታዬ አይሳሳትም አይረሳምም አለው። [Moses] said, The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets. 20:53 (እርሱ) ያ ምድርን ለናንተ ምንጣፍ ያደረገላችሁ፣ በርሷም ውስጥ ለናንተ መንገድን ያገራላችሁ ውሃንም ከሰማይ ያወረደው ነው፣ (አለ)። በርሱም ከተለያየ በቃይ ዓይነቶችን አወጣንላቸሁ፤ [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 20:54 ብሉ፣ እንስሳዎቻችሁንም አግጡ፤ (ባዮች ሆነን አወጣንላችሁ)፣ በዚህ ውስጥ ለአእምሮ ባለቤቶች በእርግጥ ታምራት አለበት። Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence. 20:55 ከርሷ (ከምድር) ፈጠርናቸሁ፤ በርሷም ውስጥ እንመልሳችኋለን፤ ከርሷም በሌላ ጊዜ እናወጣችኋለን። From the earth We created you, and into it We will return you, and from it We will extract you another time. 20:56 ታምራቶቻችንንም ሁሏንም (ለፈርዖን)፣ በእርግጥ አሳየነው፤አስተባበለም እንቢም አለ። And We certainly showed Pharaoh Our signs - all of them - but he denied and refused. 20:57 ከምድራችን፣ በድግምትህ ልታወጣን መጣህብን? ሙሳ ሆይ! አለ። He said, Have you come to us to drive us out of our land with your magic, O Moses? 20:58 መሰሉንም ድግምት እናመጣብሃለን፤ በኛና ባንተም መካከል እኛም አንተም የማንጥሰው የሆነ ቀጠሮን፣ በመካከለኛ ስፍራ አድርግልን፣ አለ። Then we will surely bring you magic like it, so make between us and you an appointment, which we will not fail to keep and neither will you, in a place assigned. 20:59 ቀጠሯችሁ በማጌጫው ቀን ሰዎቹም በረፋድ በሚሰበሰቡበት ነው አለ። [Moses] said, Your appointment is on the day of the festival when the people assemble at mid-morning. 20:60 ፈርዖንም ዞረ፤ ተንኮሉንም ሰበሰበ፤ ከዚያም መጣ። So Pharaoh went away, put together his plan, and then came [to Moses]. 20:61 ሙሳ ለነሱ አላቸው፦ ወዮላችሁ በአላህ ላይ ውሸትን አትቅጠፉ፤ በቅጣት ያጠፋችኋልና፤ የቀጠፈም ሰው በእርግጥ አፈረ። Moses said to the magicians summoned by Pharaoh, Woe to you! Do not invent a lie against Allah or He will exterminate you with a punishment; and he has failed who invents [such falsehood]. 20:62 (ድግምተኞቹ) በመካከላቸውም ነገራቸውን ተጨቃጨቁ፤ ውይይትንም ደበቁ። So they disputed over their affair among themselves and concealed their private conversation. 20:63 እነዚህ በእርግጥ ደጋሚዎች ናቸው፤ ከምድራችሁ በድግምታቸው ሊያወጧችሁ በላጪቱንም መንገዳችሁን ሊያስወግድባችሁ ይሻሉ አሉ። They said, Indeed, these are two magicians who want to drive you out of your land with their magic and do away with your most exemplary way. 20:64 ተንኮላችሁንም አጠናክሩ፤ ከዚያም ተሰልፋችሁ ኑ፤ ዛሬ ያሸነፈም ሰው ምኞቱን አገኘ (ተባባሉ)። So resolve upon your plan and then come [forward] in line. And he has succeeded today who overcomes. 20:65 ሙሳ ሆይ! ወይ ትጥላለህ ወይም በመጀመሪያ የምንጥል እንሆናለን፣ (ምረጥ) አሉ። They said, O Moses, either you throw or we will be the first to throw. 20:66 አይደለም ጣሉ፣ አላቸው፤ ወዲያውም ገመዶቻቸውና ዘንጎቻቸው ከድግምታቸው የተነሳ እነርሱ የሚሮጡ (እባቦች) ሆነው ወደርሱ ተመለሱ። He said, Rather, you throw. And suddenly their ropes and staffs seemed to him from their magic that they were moving [like snakes]. 20:67 ሙሳም በነፍሱ ውስጥ ፍርሃት አሳደረ። And he sensed within himself apprehension, did Moses. 20:68 ፦አትፍራ አንተ የበላዩ አንተ ነህና አልነው። Allah said, Fear not. Indeed, it is you who are superior. 20:69 በቀኝ እጅህ ያለችውን በትር ጣል፤ ያንን የሰሩትን ትውጣለችና፤ ያ የሰሩት ሁሉ የድግምተኛ ተንኮል ነውና፤ ድግምተኛም በመጣበት ስፍራ ሁሉ አይቀናውም (አልን)። And throw what is in your right hand; it will swallow up what they have crafted. What they have crafted is but the trick of a magician, and the magician will not succeed wherever he is. 20:70 ድግምተኞቹም ሰጋጆች ሁነው ወደቁ፤ በሃሩንና በሙሳ ጌታ አመንን አሉ። So the magicians fell down in prostration. They said, We have believed in the Lord of Aaron and Moses. 20:71 (ፈርዖንም) ለናንተ ሳልፈቅድላችሁ በፊት ለርሱ አመናችሁን? እርሱ በእርግጥ ያ ድግምትን ያስተምራችሁ ትልቃችሁ ነው፤ እጆቻችሁንና እግሮቻችሁን በማናጋት (ግራና ቀኝን በማፈራረቅ) እቆራርጣችኋለው፤ በዘምባባም ግንዶች ላይ እሰቅላችኋለሁ፤ ማንኛችንም ቅጣቱ በጣም ብርቱ፣ የሚቆይም መሆኑን ታውቃላችሁ አላቸው። [Pharaoh] said, You believed him before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic. So I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will crucify you on the trunks of palm trees, and you will surely know which of us is more severe in [giving] punishment and more enduring. 20:72 ከመጡልን ታምራቶችና ከዚያም ከፈጠረን (አምላክ፣ )ፈጽሞ አንመርጥህም፤ አንተም የምትፈርደውን ፍረድ፤ የምትፈርደው በዚች በአነስተኛይቱ ሕይወት ብቻ ነው አሉ። They said, Never will we prefer you over what has come to us of clear proofs and [over] He who created us. So decree whatever you are to decree. You can only decree for this worldly life. 20:73 ኃጢአቶቻችንንና ከድግምትም በርሱ ላይ ያስገደድከንን ለኛ ይምረን ዘንድ እኛ በጌታችን አምነናል፤ አላህም በጣም በላጭ ነው፤ (ቅጣቱም) በጣም የሚዘወትር ነው አሉ። Indeed, we have believed in our Lord that He may forgive us our sins and what you compelled us [to do] of magic. And Allah is better and more enduring. 20:74 እነሆ ከሓዲ ሆኖ ወደ ጌታው የሚመጣ ሰው፣ ለርሱ ገሃነም አለችው፤ በውስጧም አይሞትም ሕያውም አይኾን። Indeed, whoever comes to his Lord as a criminal - indeed, for him is Hell; he will neither die therein nor live. 20:75 በጎ ሥራዎችን በእርግጥ የሠራ ምእምን ሆኖ የመጣውም ሰው እነዚያ ለነሱ ከፍተኛ ደረጃዎች አሏቸው። But whoever comes to Him as a believer having done righteous deeds - for those will be the highest degrees [in position]: 20:76 ከስሮቻቸው ወንዞች የሚፈሱባቸው የመኖሪያ ገነቶች በውስጣቸው ዘውታሪዎች ሲሆኑ (አሏቸው)፤ ይህም የተጥራራ ሰው ምንዳ ነው። Gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. And that is the reward of one who purifies himself. 20:77 ወደ ሙሳም ባሮቼን ይዘህ በሌሊት ኺድ፤ ለነሱም በባሕር ውስጥ፣ ደረቅ መንገድን አድርግላቸው፤ መገኘትን አትፍራ፤ (ከመስጠም) አትጨነቅም ስንል በእርግጥ ላክንበት። And We had inspired to Moses, Travel by night with My servants and strike for them a dry path through the sea; you will not fear being overtaken [by Pharaoh] nor be afraid [of drowning]. 20:78 ፈርዖንም ከሰራዊቱ ጋር ሆኖ ተከተላቸው፤ ከባህሩም የሚሸፍን ሸፈናቸው። So Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers, and there covered them from the sea that which covered them, 20:79 ፈርዖንም ሕዝቦቹን አሳሳታቸው፤ ቅኑንም መንገድ አልመራቸውም። And Pharaoh led his people astray and did not guide [them]. 20:80 የእስራኤል ልጆች ሆይ ከጠላታችሁ በእርግጥ አዳንናችሁ፤ በጡርም ቀኝ ጎን ቀጠሮ አደረግንላችሁ፤ በናንተም ላይ መናንና ድርጭትን አወረድንላችሁ። O Children of Israel, We delivered you from your enemy, and We made an appointment with you at the right side of the mount, and We sent down to you manna and quails, 20:81 ከሰጠናችሁ ሲሳይ፤ ከመልካሙ ብሉ፤ በርሱም ወሰንን አትለፉ፤ ቁጣዬ በናንተ ላይ ይወርድባችኋልና፤ በርሱም ላይ ቁጣዬ የሚወርድበት ሰው በእርግጥ ይጠፋል። [Saying], Eat from the good things with which We have provided you and do not transgress [or oppress others] therein, lest My anger should descend upon you. And he upon whom My anger descends has certainly fallen. 20:82 እኔም ለተጸጸተ፣ ላመነም መልካምንም ለሰራ፣ ከዚያም ለተመራ ሰው፣ በእርግጥ መሐሪ ነኝ። But indeed, I am the Perpetual Forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance. 20:83 ሙሳ ሆይ! ከሕዝቦችህ ምን አስቸኮለህም? (ተባለ)። [ Allah ] said, And what made you hasten from your people, O Moses? 20:84 እነሱ እነዚህ፤ በዱካዬ ላይ ያሉ ናቸው፤ ጌታዬ ሆይ! ትወድልኝም ዘንድ ወደ አንተ ቸኮልኩ አለ። He said, They are close upon my tracks, and I hastened to You, my Lord, that You be pleased. 20:85 (አላህ) እኛም ከአንተ በኋላ ሰዎችህን በእርግጥ ፈትተን፤ ሳምራዊውም አሳሳታቸው አለው። [ Allah ] said, But indeed, We have tried your people after you [departed], and the Samiri has led them astray. 20:86 ሙሳም ወደ ሰዎቹ የተቆጣ ያዘነ ሆኖ ተመለሰ፤ ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ጌታችሁ መልካም ተስፋን አልቀጠራችሁምን? ቀጠሮው በናንተ ላይ ረዘመባችሁን? ወይስ በናንተ ላይ ከጌታችሁ ቅጣት ሊወርድባችሁ ፈለጋችሁና ቀጠሮዬን አፈረሳችሁን? አላቸው። So Moses returned to his people, angry and grieved. He said, O my people, did your Lord not make you a good promise? Then, was the time [of its fulfillment] too long for you, or did you wish that wrath from your Lord descend upon you, so you broke your promise [of obedience] to me? 20:87 ቀጠሮህን በፈቃዳችን አልጣስንም፤ ግን እኛ ከሕዝቦቹ ጌጥ፣ ሸክሞችን ተጫን (1) (በእሳት ላይ) ጣልናትም፤ ሳምራዊውም እንደዚሁ ጣለ አሉት። They said, We did not break our promise to you by our will, but we were made to carry burdens from the ornaments of the people [of Pharaoh], so we threw them [into the fire], and thus did the Samiri throw. 20:88 ለነሱም አካል የሆነ ጥጃን ለርሱ መጓጎር ያለውን አወጣላቸው፤ (ተከታዮቹ) ይህ አምላካችሁ፣ የሙሳም አምላክ ነው፤ ግን ረሳው አሉም። And he extracted for them [the statue of] a calf which had a lowing sound, and they said, This is your god and the god of Moses, but he forgot. 20:89 ወደነሱ ንግግርን የማይመልስ ለነሱም ጉዳትንና ጥቅምን የማይችል መሆኑን አያዩምን? Did they not see that it could not return to them any speech and that it did not possess for them any harm or benefit? 20:90 ሃሩንም ከዚያ በፊት በእርግጥ አላቸው፦ ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ! (ይህ) በርሱ የተሞከራችሁበት ብቻ ነው ጌታችሁም አልረህማን ነው ተከተሉኝም፤ ትእዛዜንም ስሙ። And Aaron had already told them before [the return of Moses], O my people, you are only being tested by it, and indeed, your Lord is the Most Merciful, so follow me and obey my order. 20:91 ሙሳ ወደኛ እስከሚመለስ በርሱ (መገዛት) ላይ ከመቆየት ፈጽሞ አንወገድም አሉ። They said, We will never cease being devoted to the calf until Moses returns to us. 20:92 (ሙሳ) አለ ሃሩን ሆይ ተሳስተው ባየሃቸው ጊዜ ምን ከለከልህ? [Moses] said, O Aaron, what prevented you, when you saw them going astray, 20:93 እኔን ከመከተል ትዕዛዜን ጣስክን? From following me? Then have you disobeyed my order? 20:94 የእናቴ ልጅ ሆይ ጢሜንም ራሴንም አትያዝ፤ እኔ በእስራኤል ልጆች መካከል ለያየህ ቃሌንም አልጠብቅህም ማለትህን ፈራሁ አለው። [Aaron] said, O son of my mother, do not seize [me] by my beard or by my head. Indeed, I feared that you would say, You caused division among the Children of Israel, and you did not observe [or await] my word. 20:95 (ሙሳ) ሳምራዊው ሆይ ነገርህም ምንድነው? አለ። [Moses] said, And what is your case, O Samiri? 20:96 ያላዩትን ነገር (1) አየሁ፤ ከመልክተኛው (ከፈረሱ ኮቴ) ዱካም ጭብጥ አፈርን ዘገንኩ (በቅርጹ ላይ) ጣልኳትም፤ እንደዚሁም ነፍሴ ሸለመችልኝ አለ። He said, I saw what they did not see, so I took a handful [of dust] from the track of the messenger and threw it, and thus did my soul entice me. 20:97 ፦አለው ኺድ ላንተም በሕይወትህ (ለአየኸው ሰው ሁሉ) መነካካት የለም ማለት አለህ፤ ለአንተም ፈጽሞ የማትጣሰው (2) ቀጠሮ አለህ፤ ወደዚያም በርሱ ላይ ተገዢው ሆነህ ወደቆየህበት አምላክህ ተመልከት፤በእርግጥ እናቃጥለዋለን ከዚያም በባህሩ ውስጥ መበተንን እንበትነዋለን። [Moses] said, Then go. And indeed, it is [decreed] for you in [this] life to say, No contact. And indeed, you have an appointment [in the Hereafter] you will not fail to keep. And look at your god to which you remained devoted. We will surely burn it and blow it into the sea with a blast. 20:98 ጌታችሁ ያ ከርሱ በቀር ሌላ አምላክ የሌለ የሆነው አላህ ብቻ ነው፤ ዕውቀቱ ነገርን ሁሉ አዳረሰ። Your god is only Allah , except for whom there is no deity. He has encompassed all things in knowledge. 20:99 እንደዚሁ በእርግጥ ካለፉት ወሬዎች ባንተ ላይ እንተርካለን፤ ከኛም ዘንድ ቁርአንን በእርግጥ ሰጠንህ። Thus, [O Muhammad], We relate to you from the news of what has preceded. And We have certainly given you from Us the Quran. 20:100 ከርሱ ያፈገፈገ ሰው፣ እርሱ በትንሳኤ ቀን ከባድን ቅጣት ይሸከማል። Whoever turns away from it - then indeed, he will bear on the Day of Resurrection a burden, 20:101 በርሱ ውስጥ ዘውታሪዎች ሆነው (ይሸከማሉ)፤ በትንሳኤም ቀን ለነሱ የሆነው ሸክም ከፋ! [Abiding] eternally therein, and evil it is for them on the Day of Resurrection as a load - 20:102 በቀንዱ በሚነፋ ቀን (ሸክማቸው ከፋ)፤ ከሃዲዎችንም በዚያ ቀን (ዓይኖቻቸው) ሰማያዊዎች ሆነው እንሰበስባቸዋለን። The Day the Horn will be blown. And We will gather the criminals, that Day, blue-eyed. 20:103 ዐሥርን (ቀን) እንጂ አልቆያችሁም በመባባል በመካከላቸው ይንሾካሸካሉ። They will murmur among themselves, You remained not but ten [days in the world]. 20:104 በሐሳብ ቀጥተኛቸው፣ አንድን ቀን እንጅ አልቆያችሁም በሚል ጊዜ የሚሉትን ነገር እኛ፣ ዐዋቂዎች ነን። We are most knowing of what they say when the best of them in manner will say, You remained not but one day. 20:105 ከጋራዎችም ይጠይቁሃል፤ በላቸው፦ ጌታዬ መበተንን ይበትናቸዋል። And they ask you about the mountains, so say, My Lord will blow them away with a blast. 20:106 ትክክል ሜዳም ሆና ይተዋታል። And He will leave the earth a level plain; 20:107 በርሷ ዝቅታና ከፍታን አታይም። You will not see therein a depression or an elevation. 20:108 በዚያ ቀን (ለመሰብሰብ) ጠሪውን ለርሱ መጣመም የሌለውን መከተል ይከተላሉ፤ ድምጾችም ለአልረህማን ጸጥ ይላሉ ስለዚህ ሹክሹክታን እንጂ አትሰማም። That Day, everyone will follow [the call of] the Caller [with] no deviation therefrom, and [all] voices will be stilled before the Most Merciful, so you will not hear except a whisper [of footsteps]. 20:109 በዚያ ቀን፣ ለርሱ አልረህማን የፈቀደለትንና ለርሱም ቃልን የወደደለትን ሰው ቢሆን እንጅ ምልጃ (አንድንም) አትጠቅምም። That Day, no intercession will benefit except [that of] one to whom the Most Merciful has given permission and has accepted his word. 20:110 በስተፊታቸው ያለውን በስተኋላቸውም ያለውን ሁሉ ያውቃል፤ በርሱም ዕውቀትን አያካብቡም፤ (አያውቁም)። Allah knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, but they do not encompass it in knowledge. 20:111 ፊቶችም ሁሉ፣ ሕያው፣ አስተናባሪ ለሆነው (አላህ )ተዋረዱ፤ በደልንም የተሸከመ ሰው በእርግጥ ከሰረ። And [all] faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. And he will have failed who carries injustice. 20:112 እርሱ አማኝ ሆኖ ከመልካም ሥራዎችም የሰራ ሰው በደልንም መጉደልንም አይፈራም። But he who does of righteous deeds while he is a believer - he will neither fear injustice nor deprivation. 20:113 እንደዚሁም ዐረብኛ ቁርአን ሆኖ አወረድነው፤ አላህንም ይፈሩ ዘንድ፣ ወይም ለነሱ ግሳጼን ያድስላቸው ዘንድ ከዛቻ ደጋግመን በውስጡ ገለጽን። And thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran and have diversified therein the warnings that perhaps they will avoid [sin] or it would cause them remembrance. 20:114 እውነተኛው ንጉስ አላህም(ከሃዲዎች ከሚሉት)ላቀ ወደ አንተ መወረዱም ከመፈጸሙ በፊት በማንበብ አትቸኩል፤ ጌታዬ ሆይ! ዕውቀትንም ጨምርልኝ በል። So high [above all] is Allah , the Sovereign, the Truth. And, [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Quran before its revelation is completed to you, and say, My Lord, increase me in knowledge. 20:115 ወደ አደምም ከዚህ በፊት ኪዳንን በእርግጥ አወረድን፤ ረሳም፤ ለርሱም ቆራጥነትን አላገኘንለትም። And We had already taken a promise from Adam before, but he forgot; and We found not in him determination. 20:116 ለመላእክትም፣ ለአዳም ስገዱ፣ ባልን ጊዜ (አስታውስ)፤ ሰገዱም ኢብሊስ ብቻ ሲቀር፣ እምቢ አለ። And [mention] when We said to the angels, Prostrate to Adam, and they prostrated, except Iblees; he refused. 20:117 አልንም፦ አደም ሆይ! ይህ ላንተም ለሚስትህም በእርግጥ ጠላት ነው፤ ስለዚህ ከገነት አያውጣችሁ፤ ትለፋለህና፤ So We said, O Adam, indeed this is an enemy to you and to your wife. Then let him not remove you from Paradise so you would suffer. 20:118 ለአንተ በእርሷ ውስጥ አለመራብና አለመታረዝ አለህ። Indeed, it is [promised] for you not to be hungry therein or be unclothed. 20:119 አንተም በእርሷ ውስጥ አትጠማም፤ በፀሃይ አትተኮስም። And indeed, you will not be thirsty therein or be hot from the sun. 20:120 ሰይጣንም ወደርሱ ጐተጐተ፦ አደም ሆይ! በመዘውተሪያህ ዛፍ (1) በማይጠፋ ንግስናም ላይ ላመለከትህን? አለው። Then Satan whispered to him; he said, O Adam, shall I direct you to the tree of eternity and possession that will not deteriorate? 20:121 ከርሷም በልሉም፤ ለነርሱም ኀፍረተ ገላቸው ተገለጸች፤ ከገነትም ቅጠል በላያቸው ላይ ይለጥፉ ጀመር፤ አደምም የጌታውን ትእዛዝ፣ (ረስቶ) ጣሰ (ከፈለገው መዘውተር) ተሳሳተም። And Adam and his wife ate of it, and their private parts became apparent to them, and they began to fasten over themselves from the leaves of Paradise. And Adam disobeyed his Lord and erred. 20:122 ከዚያም ጌታው መረጠው ከርሱም ጸጸቱን ተቀበለው መራውም። Then his Lord chose him and turned to him in forgiveness and guided [him]. 20:123 አላቸው፦ ከፊላችሁም ለከፊሉ ጠላት ሲኾን ሁላችሁም ከርሷ ውረዱ፤ ከኔም የሆነ መሪ ቢመጣላችሁ፣ መሪየን የተከተለ አይሳሳትም፤ አይቸገርምም። [ Allah ] said, Descend from Paradise - all, [your descendants] being enemies to one another. And if there should come to you guidance from Me - then whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray [in the world] nor suffer [in the Hereafter]. 20:124 ከግሳፄየም የዞረ ሰው፣ ለርሱ ጠባብ ኑሮ አልለው፤ በትንሳኤም ቀን ዕውር ሆኖ እንቀሰቅሰዋለን። And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind. 20:125 ፦ ጌታዬ ሆይ ለምን ዕውር አድርገህ አስነሳኸኝ? በእርግጥ የማይ የነበርኩ ስሆን፣ ይላል። He will say, My Lord, why have you raised me blind while I was [once] seeing? 20:126 (ነገሩ) እንደዚሁ ነው፤ ታምራታችን መጣችልህ፤ ተውካትም እንደዚሁም ዛሬ ትተዋለህ ይለዋል። [ Allah ] will say, Thus did Our signs come to you, and you forgot them; and thus will you this Day be forgotten. 20:127 እንደዚሁም ያጋራንና በጌታው አንቀጾች ያላመነን ሰው እንቀጣዋለን፤ የመጨረሻይቱም ዓለም ቅጣት፣ በጣም ብርቱ፣ ሁል ጊዜ ዘውታሪም ነው። And thus do We recompense he who transgressed and did not believe in the signs of his Lord. And the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe and more enduring. 20:128 ( ቁረይሾች) ከነሱ በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች ብዙዎችን ያጠፋን መሆናችን፣ በመኖሪያዎቻቸው የሚኼዱ ሆነው ሳሉ ለነርሱ አልተገለጸላቸውምን? በዚህ ውስጥ ለአእምሮ ባለ ቤቶች በእርግጥ ምልክቶች አሉበት። Then, has it not become clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them as they walk among their dwellings? Indeed in that are signs for those of intelligence. 20:129 ከጌታህ ያለፈች ቃልና የተወሰነ ጊዜ ባልነበረ ኖሮ (ቅጣቱ አሁኑ) የሚይዛቸው ይሆን ነበር። And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, punishment would have been an obligation [due immediately], and [if not for] a specified term [decreed]. 20:130 በሚሉትም ላይ ታገስ፤ ጌታህንም ፀሃይ ከመውጣትዋ በፊት ከመግባትዋም በፊት የምታመሰግን ሆነህ አጥራው፤ (ስገድ)፤ ከሌሊት ሰዓቶችም በቀን ጫፎችም አጥራው (በሚሰጥህ ምንዳ) ልትወድ ይከጀላልና። So be patient over what they say and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and during periods of the night [exalt Him] and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied. 20:131 ዓይኖችህንም ከነርሱ (ከሰዎቹ) ክፍሎችን በርሱ ልንፈትናቸው ወደ አጣቀምንበት ወደ ቅርቢቱ ሕይወት ጌጦች አትዘርጋ። የጌታህ ሲሳይም፣ በጣም በላጭ ዘውታሪም ነው። And do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [some] categories of them, [its being but] the splendor of worldly life by which We test them. And the provision of your Lord is better and more enduring. 20:132 ቤተሰብህንም በስግደት እዘዝ፤ በርሷም ላይ ዘውትር፤ ሲሳይን አንጠይቅህም፤ እኛ እንሰጥሃለን መልካሚቱ መጨረሻም ለጥንቁቆቹ ናት። And enjoin prayer upon your family [and people] and be steadfast therein. We ask you not for provision; We provide for you, and the [best] outcome is for [those of] righteousness. 20:133 ከጌታውም በሆነ ታምር አይመጣንምን? አሉ፤ በመጀመሪያዎቹ ጽሁፎች ውስጥ ያለችው ማስረጃ አልመጣቻቸውምን? And they say, Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord? Has there not come to them evidence of what was in the former scriptures? 20:134 እኛም ከርሱ (ከሙሐመድ መላክ) በፊት በቅጣት ባጠፋናቸው ኖሮ፦ ጌታችን ሆይ! ከመዋረዳችንና ከማፈራችን በፊት አንቀጾችህን እንከተል ዘንድ ወደኛ መልክተኛን አትልክም ነበርን? ባሉ ነበር። And if We had destroyed them with a punishment before him, they would have said, Our Lord, why did You not send to us a messenger so we could have followed Your verses before we were humiliated and disgraced? 20:135 ሁሉም ተጠባባቂ ነው ተጠባበቁም፤ የቀጥታውም መንገድ ባለቤቶች እነማን እንደሆኑ፣ እነማንም እንደተመሩ፣ ወደፊት ታውቃላችሁ በላቸው። Say, Each [of us] is waiting; so wait. For you will know who are the companions of the sound path and who is guided.
