ព្រះអម្ចាស់ ជួយការពារមនុស្សទន់ទាប ពេលខ្ញុំធ្លាក់ខ្លួនខ្សោយ ព្រះអង្គបានសង្គ្រោះខ្ញុំ។ ខ្ញុំនឹងលែងខ្វល់ខ្វាយអ្វីទៀតហើយ ដ្បិត ព្រះអម្ចាស់ ប្រោសប្រទានឲ្យខ្ញុំ បានសុខសាន្ត។ ព្រះអង្គបានរំដោះខ្ញុំឲ្យរួចពីស្លាប់ ព្រះអង្គជូតទឹកភ្នែកខ្ញុំ ហើយការពារខ្ញុំមិនឲ្យជំពប់ដួលឡើយ។ ខ្ញុំនឹងដើរនៅចំពោះព្រះភ័ក្ត្រ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ ក្នុងពិភពមនុស្សលោកនេះ។ ខ្ញុំនៅតែមានជំនឿដដែល ទោះបីខ្ញុំពោលថា ខ្ញុំជាមនុស្សវេទនា។ ពេលខ្ញុំមានភ័យអាសន្ន ខ្ញុំពោលឡើងថា យើងមិនអាចទុកចិត្តលើមនុស្ស ណាម្នាក់បានឡើយ។ តើខ្ញុំអាចយកអ្វីមកតបស្នង នឹងព្រះគុណទាំងប៉ុន្មាន ដែល ព្រះអម្ចាស់ បានសម្តែងមកលើរូបខ្ញុំ? ខ្ញុំនឹងលើកពែងឡើងថ្វាយ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ ដែលបានរំដោះខ្ញុំ ខ្ញុំនឹងអង្វររកព្រះនាមរបស់ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ ។ (ទំនុកតម្កើង 116:6-13 KHSV) Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; our God is merciful.
