—“Ye shall not surely die”— This 1st lie from the enemy - TopicsExpress

—“Ye shall not surely die”— This 1st lie from the enemy Satan worked all to well the first time he told it, and is still working all to well today!!! There are so many churches not teaching the LORDS commandment and so many teaching them either wrong, or ever worse that we dont have to keep them anymore, and then there this nonsense about the law being nailed to the cross and we dont have to keep Gods Laws any more. WELL ! All I know is this--- JESUS, Yeshua the Christ who never lies said the following not once but twice, (nothing to interpret here, He says it like it is) Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. & again, Luke 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. AND I BELIEVE HIM!!! >Darkness before Dawn 14.4 The only one who promised Adam life in disobedience was the great deceiver. And the declaration of the serpent to Eve in Eden—“Ye shall not surely die”—was the first sermon ever preached upon the immortality of the soul. Yet this declaration, resting solely upon the authority of Satan, is echoed from the pulpits of Christendom and is received by the majority of mankind as readily as it was received by our first parents. The divine sentence, The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:20), is made to mean: The soul that sinneth, it shall not die, but live eternally. We cannot but wonder at the strange infatuation which renders men so credulous concerning the words of Satan and so unbelieving in regard to the words of God. {Darkness before Dawn 14.4} > They (the enemy) teach the law was nailed to the cross and then add, sooooooooooo we dont have to keep Gods law any more. Yet there are so many scriptures that contradict that teaching. In fact from the very beginning when Jesus began to teach he said: Mat 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. And if you dont repent? 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. And the Law? Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city And those that teach not to keep His commandments? Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. It is just this simple: 1Jn 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1Jn 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
