——— CALIFORNIA KING JAMES BIBLE BELIEVERS GROUPS ——— —————— Daily Devotional for Tuesday, Oct. 7th, 2014 —————— ————————————The Stumbling Blocks——————————— ————————————— (Part Three) ———————————— *Each devotional in this small series is marked by the photographic image shown here. Continuing....in the previous posts, I made it clear that the first stumbling block for the Jews was the Lord Jesus, and the second stumbling block for the Christians today is the King James Bible. We read again in Jer. 6:21, Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish. Therefore, we see two stumbling blocks: the Lord and the word. In the KJB, many times, the word is listed first and then the Lord, because today the word is complete, and the Christian today is stumbled by it. ———Lesson Three Continued: Again, confirming this truth about the real Bible, the KJB, in the NT we find this pattern of obeying the “word of God” first and then second, seeing in Phil. 2:16 the “day of Christ”... “Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.” How about Gal. 3:8? We read, “And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.” Again, what is listed first in this verse of Eph. 1:13? And what did you do before you believed in Jesus? You believed the “the word of truth”! We read, “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise”. Again, confirming this truth about the real Bible, the KJB, in the NT we find this pattern of speaking the “word of God” first and then second, growing up into Jesus, found in Eph. 4:15, “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ”. If you are not first “speaking the truth in love”, you are not secondly growing “up into him”! This is frightening to those understanding this truth and still walking in MVs, yet, in their hearts wanting to love all through Jesus. But the “word of God” written here says that you first “speak the truth in love”, the KJB, secondly you will then to “grow up in him”! No wonder the Church is Laodicean! It can’t grow up in Christ into manhood, it’s in the WRONG WORD! The MVs! Again, confirming this truth about the real Bible, the KJB, in the NT we find this pattern of believing the “word of God” first and the second, believing in Jesus, found in Eph. 6:14-15 (the “word of God” is truth), “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace”. Again, confirming this truth about the real Bible, the KJB, in the NT we find this pattern of believing the “word of God” first and then second, believing in Jesus, found in 2 Thess. 2:13-14 (the “word of God” always testifies and confirms itself, MVs only testify, but they have taken away many of the confirmations). 2 Thess. 2:13-14, “But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Again, the “word of God” listed first and Jesus listed second. You can’t know the who, what, and why of Jesus Christ, apart from the “word of God”. And the “word of God” is a living, fiery, golden, and written Jesus. We find Jesus identified in the Scriptures, and we believe on Jesus by the Scriptures, for Jesus is the Scripture and the Scripture is Jesus! You must first believe what the Scripture says about Jesus to believe in Jesus, therefore, God has lifted up the “word” (small “w”) above all His name! (Ps. 138:2). Again, first Christians are “beget” by “the word of truth” and then second, that we should be a “kind of firstfruits”, Ja. 1:18, “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” Again, first the Scriptures, then the Lord Jesus in 2 Tim. 3:15, “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” Again, confirming this truth about the real Bible, the KJB, in the NT we find this pattern of walking in the “word of God” first and then second, having power to overcome, found in 1 Jn. 2:14, “the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.” Again, confirming this truth about the real Bible, the KJB, in the NT we find this pattern of being of the “word of God” first and then second, being able to assure our hearts, found in 1 Jn. 3:19, “And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.” How can anyone assure their hearts before God if they are not of “the truth”??? Again, confirming this truth the “word” first and then the “Lord” second, we read in 1 Jn. 5:13, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” Again, in Rev. 3:8 we read, “kept my word, and hast not denied my name”. Word listed first and Christ second. Think maybe God is trying to get you to see something? Again, in Rev. 6:9 we read, “And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held”. These are the OT saints in this fifth seal under “the altar” just before the Rapture of the Church in the sixth seal (see The Rapture Code, by this author). They are holding first to the “word of God” and second to their “testimony”! God lists the “word of God” first to make the point that without it, you and me cannot understand who Jesus is, and His work of salvation, etc. I know that I am showing you all a lot of Scripture, but this is one of the best and clear arguments showing that the word of God, the KJB would be and is the stumblingblock for the churches, as Jesus was the stumblingblock for the Jews.
