’LL NOT DECAMP TO OPPOSITION BUT WIN ELECTION IN PDP – SUSWAM; Benue State governor, Gabriel Suswam yesterday said he would not leave the ruling Peoples Democratic Party for any other political party, insisting that he will win election on the ticket of the party regardless of the outcome of the 2015 general elections. Suswam is battling to unseat the incumbent senator, Barnabas Gemade who represents Benue Northeast senatorial district and he is rumoured to be nursing plans to defect to an opposition political party if he fails to win the primaries of the party. Suswam who stated this in a press release issued by his director on media affairs, Mr James Uloko, debunked the media speculations that he would possibly defect to the opposition should he bow to pressure to withdraw from the Benue Northeast senatorial race. “I will never leave the PDP but the right thing should be done,” he said.
