‘’THE NEELKANTH’’ “The NEELKANTH (blue throat) peak rises to a breathtaking 6,957 meters behind BADRINATH & is named after Loard Shiva’s attributr of having a blue throat. Shiva drank the celestial poison to save the gods from destruction but kept it for all time in his throat making it blue. The peak is every bit as calmly indestructible as the god it is named after.,, Trekking above the treeling in Uttarakhand can feel like u r on the moon, albeit a snow- coved moon.
