ℒℴνℯ….ღ…MATTHEW…ღ This senior needs a warm home to retire in!! Wow, Matthew is ever so handsome isn’t he? Those charcoal ears set in stark white fur make him the envy of all the other guys on the block. Matthew is still good looking even at 10-years-old. He’d be an ideal housemate for someone who loves dogs but dislikes running around chasing them. Matthew has some troublesome arthritis so he isn’t anxious to go wandering at all - even though he was found as a stray. We think someone helped him “get lost” and that’s a really sad image. Matthew is ready to give his heart to a new human. He was agreeable to playing games and toys with the assessor. He was even willing to share his food with a plastic hand but he tired of all the shenanigans by the time they tried to take away his rawhide. Matthew becomes a little stiff around strange dogs but he does not demonstrate any inappropriate behavior. Matthew’s biggest problem tonight is that they plan on doing him in tomorrow. Yes, they plan on killing him before the day is done. Do you believe we might be able to locate an experienced dog handler - someone without young children - who would be willing to foster or adopt Matthew. We won’t know if we don’t try.
