In a 2003 study published by Journal of personality and social psychology, demonstrated that participants keeping a gratitude journal over 10 weeks of study-examples oF gratitude inducing experiences includinggenerosity of friends and tO the Rolling Stones felt significantly happier, and were more optimistic about the following week. THey even exercised more compared to those instructed to record jassles(e.g. stupid people driving) or neutral life events/social comparison. Appreciation can make a big difference in a persons ability to FEEL MORE positive and to perform at his or her best level. Feeling gratitude sets the tone for improving and enjoying ones game and life experience. It caan create positive relationships with family,friends, etc. Which in turn have a positive impact on oneself.
