御嶽山 // Mt. Ontake I climbed Mount Ontake with some friends two weeks before it erupted and engulfed more than 50 hikers in a matter of moments. For me to look back and think that that could have been my final moment is truly sobering. I want to dedicate this video to those who were doing what we were doing - hiking on a beautiful Saturday with those they loved or simply just doing what they loved by themselves. Staring deep into the mouth of this terrifying volcano was one of the most awesome experiences Ive ever had, and Im lucky to have experienced it with friends and lived to tell the tale. I hope you feel just a glimpse of what I felt as I sat on the edge of that mountain, breathless and in awe.
