纪念John Lennon Today marks the 34th anniversary of the death of the late, great Beatle, John Lennon. John Lennon was an English musician who gained worldwide fame as one of the founder members of The Beatles, for his subsequent solo career, and for his political activism and pacifism. He was shot to death by Mark David Chapman at the entrance to the building where he lived, The Dakota, in New York City on Monday 8 December 1980.
