This project is a result of his first journey around London. As a designer, sand casting has always been an inspiring process. he decided to focus specifically on the lost foam casting process. he experimented with various types of soft foam sheeting and finally settled on using Plastazote LD18, a low-density expanded polyethylene, and a small hand torch to heat weld the pattern ready for sacrificial casting. The softness of the foam together with the tailoring technique and heat-welded seams generate a unique plump appearance.
