월롱산 Paju, South Korea I was doing some exploring on Google Maps and I saw that this mountain is close to a subway station, and the terrain view filter showed a map that seemed good for cross-country mountain biking. But after going out for my first ride I can say I wouldnt recommend this area for MTB. There were parts of the trail that were fun mountain biking. A section of sliced rock sheets jutting out from the trail. For a moment it felt like I was riding in Moab, Utah. Unfortunately the trail system is just too small and there was no opportunity to get any type of rhythm going. The main trail follows the ridgeline and there were hike-a-bike sections and quite a few military fox holes along the mountain. Probably because Paju is so close to the North Korean border. Overall, Paju doesnt make the best MTB destination.
