Matthew - 17 20 그때에 베드로가 돌이켜 예수님께서 사랑하시던 그 제자가 따르는 것을 보았는데 그는 또한 만찬 자리에서 그분의 가슴에 기대어, 주여, 주를 배반하여 넘겨주는 자가 누구니이까? 하고 말한 자더라. 21 베드로가 그를 보고 예수님께 이르되, 주여, 이 사람은 무엇을 하리이까? 하니 22 예수님께서 그에게 이르시되, 내가 올 때까지 그가 머물 것을 내가 원할지라도 그것이 너와 무슨 상관이 있느냐? 너는 나를 따르라, 하시더라. 23 그때에 그 제자는 죽지 아니하리라는 이 말씀이 형제들 사이에 널리 퍼졌으나 예수님은 그에게, 그가 죽지 아니하리라, 하지 아니하시고 다만, 내가 올 때까지 그가 머물 것을 내가 원할지라도 그것이 너와 무슨 상관이 있느냐? 하셨더라. 요한복음 21장 20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? 21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? 22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. 23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?
