☀️We are thrilled to let you all know that thanks to everybody we managed to raise €35,500 for Donate for Daire. David & Orla have written a very heartfelt thank you to you all. And from all of Team Daire we would like to thank David & Orla & their fabulous boys for letting us all be a part of their journey ☀️😘xxxx Myself, David and our three boys are so grateful to each and every one of you for all your incredible help and support through what has been the most difficult 5 months of our lives. You have made it possible for us to spend time together as a family and for this we are eternally grateful. Daire is doing great at the moment, he is hitting all his milestones as an “8th month old baby” and considering all the poison his body has had to deal with……we think he’s pretty awesome. It’s still very early days as the type of cancer Daire has is likely to return within the first 2 years after treatment, so while we are so happy with his progress, we are still working towards getting the “All Clear” in 2-5 years time. Daire is now 102 days post Bone Marrow Transplant as I write this, which is a milestone, but he still has no immune system for up to a year. We are doing our best to keep him isolated at home as much as possible. His two big brothers “who have been amazing” love the bones of him, and they themselves have had a difficult few months too, but due to our amazing Family & Friends they got through it without too much upheaval. We are now very much looking forward to a lovely family Christmas, Daire’s first of many please God and our first with 3 Super Hero Boys…. From the bottom of our hearts we take this opportunity to thank you all again and we wish each and everyone of you a Merry Christmas and Happy & Peaceful New Year.
