---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Sunday, May 11, 2014 Subject: Fwd: TN State AAP organisation Dear Christina, David and Udaykumar, District Coordinators and LS Candidates As I had announced the TN State Campaign Committee on behalf of the National Campaign Committee I thought I should write to clarify some points about AAP organisation in TN. This should also help to clear confusion. 1. State Campaign Committee (headed by David Barun Kumar) was formed to organise campaign and all election related exercise . 2. State Campaign Committee will continue to function as only legitimate body recognised and authorised by National Executive till alternative or new arrangements are made. 3. State Campaign Committee should immediately Initiate process of preliminary review followed by comprehensive review and lessons learnt. 4. Ad hoc State committee (headed by Christina Samy) which was in existence prior to formation of State Campaign Committee has no independent role to play in review of election related experiences. 5. Given the fact that a. That no State committee member was part of Campaign Committee b. That none of the State committee members were put up as candidates despite their keenness to contest. c That most of their recommendations for candidates were not approved. It should be absolutely clear to every body that all talks of revival of State Committee automatically is totally ruled out. No member or office bearer of the said committee can go to media or play any organisational role or conduct any meeting till clearly authorised by State Campaign Committee . 6. All volunteers and Adhoc District Committees will continue to seek guidance from State Campaign Committee till new arrangement . Any new arrangement will be notified on Party website. Please forward this communication to all Volunteers who may also be confused. Ajit Jha
