:-) Fair Grammont/Geraardsbergen with the annual Procession of Plaisance :-) The origins of this has to do with the relics of St-Bartholomew, the patron saint of our church DECANAL. Nearly 500 years, this "jolly procession" through & the relics carried around by the church council & the Geraardsbergse population through the city. This is a unique event because that way (in their clothing) put out on the various associations of their association in the viewer. Usually they are preceded by their own "Manneken Pis" in the package of the relevant group. Also the three giants of Grammont steps along in the procession... :-) :-) Messe Grammont mit der jährlichen Prozession Plaisance :-) Die Ursprünge dieser hat mit den Reliquien des Heiligen zu tun - Bartholomäus, dem Schutzpatron unserer Kirche DEKANSKIRCHE. Fast 500 Jahre lang wird diese "lustige Prozession" durch und rund um die Reliquien vom Kirchevorstand und der Geraardsbergsen Bevölkerung durch die Stadt durchgeführt. Dies ist ein einzigartiges Ereignis, weil auf diese Weise ihre Kleidung auf den verschiedenen Verbänden ihres Verbands in den Betrachtern vorgezeigt wird. Normalerweise geht ihr eigener "Manneken Pis" in der Verpackung der jeweiligen Gruppe voraus.
