**2014 Wrangler Western #NFR NEWS**World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider and 2014 FWSSR Champion, Cody Wright has been sidelined due to injury. Fighting a dislocated shoulder, Wright elected not to compete in Round 8 and thereby is required to sit out in Round 9. He will be eligible to return to NFR competition in Round 10 - although his return is questionable. (Per Codys wife, ShaRee Wright) Cody will not be riding tonight at the NFR. He just doesnt feel like he is where he needs to be. Although it was an extremely hard decision for him to make we feel it is what is best for him. Thank you all for your support and concern. It means the world to us. Rest assured, whether Cody makes it back to 2014 NFR competition or not - this seasoned veteran has not seen his last NFR.
