#25DaysOfPrayer - Day 3: Search my heart, oh God. Put my motives and desires to the test of fire. Shine your holy light into the darkest crevices of my very soul and unearth what I have buried so deep I cant see any longer. Pour out your cup of judgement on my life. Search me, oh God, and reveal to me my innermost desires. My LORD and my God, if my motives for coming to this 25 Days of Prayer are anything other than to glorify you, please reveal that to me, and I will stop. I seek to glorify only you, oh Lord. In Matthew 6:5-6, you instruct us, When you pray, dont be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the truth, that is all the reward they will ever get. But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. I believe our world needs more prayer, and until we fall on our knees before you, we will continue down our path to destruction. Our nation needs a revival, Lord...a mass migration of people who turn from the norm of todays societal habits back toward you. I trust you have called me to this time of public prayer for a reason, LORD, and I ask only that if I am mistaken that you would reveal it to me so that I can stop. May YOU be glorified in all things LORD!
