[4 More Days - Lets Do It] If theres one thing Ive learnt from my life and business mentor, Soon, it is his almost-maniacal desire and sheer intensity for what he puts his mind to. Whether it was him sharing with me how his co-founder and himself raised US$37M for his start-up while surviving on instant noodles at one point or how he master-minded his way for his MBA at Harvard or him practising in isolation on the punching bags during a leadership boot camp... he makes it happen. In the same fashion, my team of interns and I have been running on marketing our INSPIRIT book since Oct 2014 and myself, have been evangelizing about this book idea since May 2014 when I was taking part in a My Paper competition. Truth is, weve already hit our fundraising target of US$12,500, exceeded with a healthy margin (6%), are the 4th highest funded book on the platform and bagged 3 media features even before weve a physical print to boot. But the Campaign is not over until its over (some of you may have still received my 11+ pm private messages to invite you to share about this Campaign! - thanks for responding to me at that hour!!) Were still running for our stretch goal of US$15,000 because I truly truly truly believe this book has legs and can go far in giving people the ah-hah moments and nudge to be a more persuasive and effective speaker. Every CEO I sat down with, gave me new insights, challenged my paradigm and inspired me to think bigger and laterally. This book is as much a condensation of the system I use with my private coaching clients as it is, a tribute to their wealth of experiences and mastery of business and communications. In fact, I do fear, quite frequently, that my writing will not do justice to what they have shared with me but I have faith that as long as every reader takes away at least ONE message or idea or action point and that makes him or her a better person, my mission is achieved. Lets do it. Together.
